Perfect place to relax with a glass of crémant and a few macaroons!

A regular visitor and customer of this exceptional place, I went there today with my husband and my 3 granddaughters, promising them a tour of the place and, above all, a tasting of the artisanal ice creams offered on site and which I calls it "the best in the region". When we arrived there was an endless queue of around 15 people waiting to be served. However, a young woman, beautiful, efficient and remarkably calm, was struggling ALONE behind the counter, going from making pancakes to preparing ice cream sundaes, without firing a shot. An admirable athlete who, when my turn came (after 40 minutes!), I congratulated on her efficiency, her calm and her attentive care for each client 🤗 The ice cream was still good but the situation of the work context in which this courageous person had to work left me with a bitter taste! I saw about 8 people leave who were waiting behind me, tired and revolted by this unfair, unjustified and unjustifiable wait. Another big 👏👏👏 for this person and a call to those who employ him.

A magnificent place, the idea of ​​the picnic basket is very nice but quickly becomes quite expensive. The setting remains exceptional.

Small haven of peace nestled in the heights of St Emilion. We drink Grand Cru Classé in the alcoves of the cloister, of course, but also sparkling grape juice in the gardens of the place. Gorgeous !

This place is a must to go in Saint-Émilion. You can buy some bread, picnic food and drinks with you in a basket and enjoy picnic in their indoor or jardin. We took just coffee and enjoyed some rest in the garden, and bought a bottle of sparkling wine they make.
