Despite a crowded restaurant and a late hour, we enjoyed a very friendly welcome. I recommend the truffled ravioli which are great. I then had a perfectly cooked can fillet followed by a really great and very generous rum baba. Despite the rain we enjoyed being able to have lunch on the banks of the Dronne. I advise you to go there for a great epicurean moment.

1st review for a 3rd visit to this essential restaurant in Brantome. The charm of the place rivals the good taste that we find in the decor as in the glass or on the plate. The cuisine is excellent, combining terroir, delicacies with the chef's touch, and the cellar is sublime. There is no good restaurant without good service, and Côté Rivière is not to be outdone. The staff is friendly, gives good advice and takes great care. The boss's smile will convince you. A 3rd visit to this address, and still just as much fun. To do absolutely.

Small, friendly restaurant. We had reserved a table at the water's edge. It looks nice. The starter, main course and dessert were impeccable. The glass of white as an aperitif then the red during the meal too. We will come back thank you very much.

The place is certainly very beautiful. We have a beautiful view and that's really the only positive point. The service is non-existent. Not a smile, nothing. They drop us off or rather they throw us an appetizer (bad) without telling us what it is (having warned that I was vegetarian, serving us tuna rillettes without mentioning it before is blah). The service is also long. The menu is very expensive for what it is. Starter: asparagus with its emulsé. So 4 stringy and tasteless white asparagus, poorly dressed and emulsified = mayonnaise. My husband chose the foie gras with an extra 2 euros. For 2 slices so thin that it can be eaten in 2 bites. (One for each slice). For main course I have ravioli. Which is equivalent to 3 ravioli with a lot of sauce. My husband got a porcini omelette. Good but tiny! Accompanied by a total of 10 fries (we counted...) We didn't have dessert because we were very disappointed. On this the waiter insists (first time he speaks to us) and even offers us "a granny piss" which has never been heard before in a restaurant! In short, quality/price not up to par but magnificent view.

A new visit to this pleasant restaurant, and once again, no disappointment. Local cuisine, refined with very good products. Efficient dressing, perfect cooking. The signature dish “truffle ravioli” is killer. The team is always so friendly, the setting is pleasant.

A beautiful terrace on the river. We went there for lunch and it was chic and original, afterwards, dishes whose quantities decreased, too many people and helpful and smiling service, but with too much waiting. It's all about knowing it. Fine dishes, but portions a little "fair"...
