Wonderful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere in the heart of Marseille. Good staff and tasty food. All pasta dishes are optionally also available gluten-free. There is also free water, which my Swabian heart and my wallet really liked.

We were hesitant to order certain things because of the previous reviews but it was great to us! We got the Penne del sud and pumpkin risotto (can’t remember the French name ). It was good, in the classic European way we had to wait a while to have our order taken, the French table beside us tried flagging them down multiple times for over ten min but eventually they spoke to the manager and left. Overall though we enjoyed it and it was around 3 pm when a lot of places were closing down.

Restaurant with a pleasant setting, prices are relatively reasonable given the quality and quantity served. The staff listens to customers but I regret the wait for the dishes (almost 40 minutes between the aperitif and the main course). I recommend this restaurant.

What I remembered are excellent desserts, the pistachio tiramisu is to die for. The dishes are good, the lasagna is delicious.

I dined at this establishment with a friend. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very cozy, the waiters are nice and friendly. I like it.

Villa Rocca

20/04/2024: Very good evening with friends. We enjoyed pasta dishes with truffles and pesto. As for the Villa Rocca-style tuna, it’s a pure delight. The desserts and the very nice atmosphere. Reservation required. €€€
17/04/2024: Very nice restaurant, while passing through Marseille we were highly recommended Villa Bocca for the excellence of its pizzas. We therefore ordered 5 pizzas (anchovies, mozzarella) although the first two arrived quite quickly, the other three arrived more than an hour later. It wasn't the same pizza chef as usual, a little feverish I think, in the end the pizzas were good but not exceptional, we arrived at 8:55 p.m. and left at 11:15 p.m. to eat a pizza for €28. We’ll come back to see if the pizzas are the best in Marseille 😉

02/04/2024: Two super tasty pizzas! Recommended!
04/03/2024: I have 5+ years of pizza establishment experience, so I can say with some confidence that I will take a Mia Pizza morceau over a thin crust New York slice ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. Anchovy slice?! Holy guacamole! Watch out for the olive pits though. Only 4/5 stars for atmosphere because Noailles has a sketch factor to take into account, but if you’re a degenerate like me you won’t have a problem.
