Very nice evening spent at the Gron! Beatrice is super pleasant and Philippe prepares us some delicious wood-fired grills. Authentic and good!

Oufffff an unforgettable experience, meat friend if you are in Les Carroz don't miss this opportunity. Meat cooked over a wood fire of very high quality, a very friendly welcome and an intimate and warm setting.

A great restaurant, grills cooked in the fireplace in front of the room. Quality meats, perfectly mastered cooking. The restaurant is run by a very friendly couple. Please note, the room only has around 25 seats, you generally need to book well in advance unless you call after a cancellation

11/05/2024: Excellent mountain restaurant with very cheesy specialties that you would expect in this type of establishment. Excellent tartiflette. Good choice of wines. Very pleasant staff and good advice. It's quite expensive but not inconsistent with the quality.

08/04/2024: We came across this gem by chance and we were delighted, special mention for the rhubarb and strawberry meringue tart which left us speechless... On the savory side, a short menu (a very good sign), hearty dishes, with truly homemade products, great taste and excellent service. We highly recommend and we will return, summer and winter!
02/04/2024: Had an amazing experience with Black Side… Jean-Michel & Nathalie couldn’t have been more hospitable with Jean-Michel in particular helpful in fixing my ski boot issues. His focus was on solving my problem and not necessarily selling me a pair of boots. I must have spent over 2-hours with him in total over at least 6 visits trying various different things and I was never made to feel a burden despite, in the end, not buying the boots. Highly recommend
