Disappointed with the experience of a star. We took a "confident" menu but the result was a little sad. For a menu at €82 per person, we leave and wonder if we ate in a Michelin-starred restaurant or in a good gourmet restaurant. The food is good, the quality of service is unquestionably worthy of a star. In each dish we always find something to say: a little simplistic, too salty or conversely something a little bland. This is why I can recommend the restaurant for a small menu that they offer for €50 with a starter, main course and dessert which is perfect.

We had the opportunity to dine in several starred restaurants in Normandy, in Manche, in Brittany in Saulieu and we were often pleasantly surprised.
Unfortunately this was not the case this time.
Perhaps the very contemporary, refined and aestheticized cuisine of Ivan Vautier, willingly calling on daring associations if not happy from our point of view, certainly served in stylish dishes, is not the one that appeals to us. agrees ?
However, we don't think we have a frigid palate but would simply have appreciated more flavors, more pleasure as well.

Visit to this establishment on the occasion of a wedding anniversary. Warm welcome, careful installation at a discreet table as requested. Menu of the Chef's choice as well as wine pairing. Everything was sublime! An explosion of little-known flavors in the mouth. Impeccable and attentive quality of service. Until the dessert(s) - there were three... in the form of a final bouquet to this fireworks display of succulent dishes. Plus the little touch in reference to our fifty years of marriage in the form of almond paste...What more could we wish for! Just an unforgettable moment. Congratulations to the Head of Establishment, all the staff and the brigade.
