James Joyce Pub sur Lyon

The place is nice, but the fish 'n chip (one of the only 3 choices of food) is oven reheated and fries are frozen type you find at the grocery store. Still a good place to have a beer.

The Scottish lady behind the bar deserves a pay rise. She works non stop serving, cooking, washing glasses and is still very welcoming. Good selection of beers.

Small cozy pub where, having entered by chance for lunch with the children, we had a very pleasant time and ate well (fish 'n chips with a lager). The waitress/owner was very friendly and so were the customers! Ideal for a break during a visit to Old Lyon or the Cinema and Miniatures museum.

We are in Ireland! No doubt. What a pleasure to taste a Guinness served according to the rules of the art!

Just had a fantastic weekend in Lyon and had a great few nights in The James Joyce. A gem in the heart of Lyon , Brandon and Niall are a great team , both so friendly and helpful, chatting with all the customers, it does really feel the your local in Ireland only better ! We had a great welcome from both French and Irish customers as well . Guinness was tested repeatedly by an expert and was excellent every time. Pints of Guinness to rival the best Dublin pubs. Full marks for atmosphere, cleanliness, and service. Highly recommend a visit. Thank you Brandon and Niall , we will certainly return.

An Irish pub as we like them. In guinness and kilkenny pressure...what more could you ask for
