Top quality cuisine with fresh produce and varied daily specials. Top service also with waiters who know their products and know how to advise the customer. A typical atmosphere of a northern brasserie. A must-see in Lille far from the tourist traps of the city center.

Very good restaurant with northern specialties!! The Flemish carbonnade pastry with fresh fries is excellent and the “La Belge” ice cream is also!!

1st dinner in this restaurant, my companion satisfied with her meal (salad of gray shrimp croquettes), a discovery, on the other hand, for my part, flank steak (requested rare) to order, served more than cooked! Despite the report, meh, no remarks or gestures from the server. Addition 52€, very expensive for such a dinner!!! Let's move on, let's go somewhere else...

Estaminet la vieille assiette

15/06/2024: I believe this is the best "estaminet" restaurant in the region. We got the carbonade and it was really great, just a bit sweeter than expected for my taste.
08/06/2024: Amazing ! It's been a long time since I had this much fun at a restaurant!! I recommend the black pudding and apple tartatin, a real treat. And without forgetting the top-notch service and setting. A big thank-you.

30/05/2024: Beautiful, very typical restaurant. The server was very friendly and attentive. There are 16 of us, there is no mistake in the dishes or drinks which is great. The meal was simple and good, no complaints. The atmosphere is nice
