La Licorne sur Falaise

A small restaurant in the heart of downtown Falaise which doesn't look like much with a slightly dated decoration. Pleasant waitresses, discreet while being very professional. Very good quality cuisine. We feasted. The pancakes are hearty, you can really taste the buckwheat and each ingredient. The sweet pancakes with homemade salted butter caramel are indulgent and delicious. A treat for the taste buds. We will come back with pleasure.

Very warm welcome at an already late hour and accompanied by our dog 👍. Very appreciated dinner in addition to the kindness of the service. THANKS. See you soon.

We stopped there on a rainy day after visiting the castle. Not much choice in winter to eat a lunch, but this is an option on the cheaper side. Kids enjoyed their crepe, but we were a little disappointed with the quality of the food. It was warm and welcoming though and we still had a relatively good time.

Very satisfactory welcome, everyone is pleasant and it's very good. Go there with your eyes closed.

Passing through Falaise for work, I entered this restaurant by chance. I was served quickly and the staff was friendly. The young waitress seemed like a beginner but she was friendly. The food is not exceptional but it goes with the price so it suits me. (I think I paid €17 for a glass of wine, pancake+fries and a scoop of ice cream so it's very reasonable). I will probably return on my next visit to Falaise.

Friendly time spent with family recently. The quality of the meal is not excellent but the value for money is very consistent, especially as everything is done with a smile.
