A superb restaurant that richly deserves its star. The cuisine is refined and sophisticated, yet maintains a traditional approach.
Excellent wine list.
Attentive service.

With his cuisine that is both simple and refined, Chef Eric Sapet knows better than anyone how to share his passion for exceptional ingredients. Throughout the tasting, he guides guests at the welcoming communal table with gusto and enthusiasm, leading them through dishes bursting with local flavors and unexpected combinations. At the end of this three-course journey, perfectly paired with wines, one leaves happy with this shared experience with the chef, his wonderful team, and the other guests, thus reviving the pure tradition of hospitality. It is this beautiful cuisine, whose secrets we hope the chef will continue to pass on—such as the preparation of green beans generously seasoned with summer truffles—that makes La Petite Maison de Cucuron a truly special place, where every meal remains etched in our summer memories for years to come.

La Petite Maison greatest achievement in my opinion is reaching authenticity of its cuisine - its Provence cuisine tastes like what a (starred) grandmother chef from 50yrs ago might have cooked for its family - that with with humble but modern twists. It’s delicate but not pompous: it’s hearty and it’s kind. It doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. We went for the longer tasting menu, and it was honestly delicious, delivered like clockwork, dishes worked together like a natural succession of chapters from the same book. Service was very kind and attentive, highly appreciated as we came as family of 5 including a baby. Wine advice was absolutely spot on with a white CdP which was absolutely grand and, when you know of London or Paris prices, very reasonably priced. The terrace is lovely, right off Place de L’Etang which is lovely too. A very special location.
Yesterday I understood the chef took care of the whole lunch service alone with a commis. Old school.
La Petite Maison is a jewel of french cuisine. I’d like to come back and see what the chef does across the different seasons…

Fantastic experience. Really good food, all dishes were extremely tasty, especially the main course with chicken breast and lobster. The snow crab/spicy crab dish was perhaps a bit too sour from passion fruit, it took the focus off the main element.
Unfortunately, the service was not 5 stars, the waiter clearly wanted to hurry us through. Definitely recommendable all in all🙏🏼

Intimate, inviting, and incredible. The food and wine were fantastic. It was the best meal we had during our 2 week stay in France. Every dish was complex and flavorful and we left almost too full to walk. A must visit.

Everything was sensational: the authentic service, the ambiance in the small garden, and of course, the menu. Incredible. Highly recommended, especially with wine pairings.

The food was exquisite. I visited in June, and got the seasonal menu. It was easily the best meal I have ever had in my life, with the highlight being the beef and the potatoes. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. I was seated on the second floor, and there was a great view of the étang.

A reliable choice, a chef who constantly innovates, and always a warm and welcoming experience, expertly orchestrated by Loïc the waiter. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was excellent. We were a group of four and had a wonderful meal. My only regret is that meat (duck and beef) was the dominant ingredient in both of the set menus. Perhaps it would be better to offer a fish option instead of meat in one of them. As I don't eat meat, my son and daughter-in-law were delighted to eat the roast duck in my main course. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the meal.

Our first all-inclusive gourmet dining experience! We were guided step by step through the courses and wines! It was a delight!! A beautiful, slightly old-fashioned place, but we loved it! Beautiful tableware, comfortable armchairs, delicious food, attentive and friendly staff, and a very reasonable bill. Bravo!!!
We'll be back 😉👍
