Here is our experience of the Grande Symphonie Menu with its food and wine pairing. It should already be noted that the establishment is located in an Alsatian town characterized by its charm. Take the opportunity to visit it if you don't already know it. The establishment, draped in red and black, is bright and tastefully decorated. All this red may seem almost too much but it is not. The welcome is warm and taken care of by Mrs. Brendel. We avoid the few beautiful low beams, we arrive at our table where the menu was waiting for us. The concept of the establishment is lovingly described to us by Mrs. Brendel. Permaculture, local producers, everything is done so that the experience we are given is the fruit of local achievements and producers dedicated to the art of taking pleasure and passing it on to us. What is even more pleasant is that what she describes, she lives it and is able to talk about each of her producers and the selected products. Monsieur Brendel becomes the one who harmoniously links all these exceptional products. The Grande Symphonie menu: Beetroot, pike egg on plankton & horseradish Leek on the flame, convoluted juice with a spoon Snail between garden and forest Heliantis & truffle game Wild zander Ikejime & simple parsley Blue flame lobster, opus incertum Free-range veal on the embers, assorted cabbages Pumpkin, marigold & tangerine combination Oh birch! Curiosities at the end Everything amazed us but I remember 3 things: The pearly zander of infinite delicacy, the blue lobster which is certainly the only one to have traveled (in fact it was so pleasant that Mr. Brendel came to share a few words with us about this dish which is close to his heart), and the veal of memorable tenderness. The food and wine pairing is just perfect, offering us wines from the region, but also knowing how to surprise us. The service is orchestrated so that we have time to appreciate the moments of discovery. Mrs. Brendel will never stop, sometimes with a teasing humor, to watch over us and ensure that this experience remains engraved in our memories. I thank her again for the little attention at the end of the meal ;)

A great, intimate time, daring dishes, the pleasure of eating locally and from the vegetable garden. Happiness. I recommend ! It's well worth their star.

Great high-end restaurant with exquisite creations and extremely delicious food. The ambience and service were a bit too artificial and fake for our standards, but we still enjoyed the whole evening.

Magnificent table by chef Jean Luc Brendel

A very nice establishment! As soon as you enter the restaurant, a warm atmosphere envelops you! The setting is sublime, the wood, the stone... this red. The staff is very present, while being discreet! A very fine selection of natural wines and knowledge of the areas! The quality of the products and the beauty of the presentations on the plate is a journey for the senses! I congratulate Mr. BRENDEL and his entire team for the daily work and especially for this passion that he tells us about each of our visits! An attentive chef, who always comes into the room to chat with the people at the table. A soul in this establishment, a passionate man with great kindness, a bouquet that is felt in each of his dishes.

Just excellent, as much as the very well maintained service, the very fine cuisine and above all local thanks to their large garden, I can only recommend this restaurant!

This table is the perfect place for a special evening. The food is delicious and the dishes are prepared with love. The variety of dishes with a strong vegetal note is impressive.
