La Vie en Rose sur Bordeaux

The cakes are very tasty, the apple crumble was even made extra warm. The latte macchiato was huge. Service was top.

The staff and the place are very pleasant. I had a fondant and a smoothie, the cake was dry and the drink had very little taste. I don't really recommend the desserts for the price. On the other hand, I didn't taste the saltiness.

The place is very beautiful, I love the atmosphere and the decor, however for brunch it's a little too simple... the eggs with bacon are good (nothing special either) but the pastries are really to review (I do better at home by baking frozen croissants), the bread is correct and the squeezed orange juice too, our young waitress was however very friendly!

A lovely place and decorated with great taste: from the interior to the terrace, everything is taken care of. The waiters are adorable, the tea is good. It is a shame that the person who appears to be the boss is so unfriendly, perhaps on a bad day, but in business, being pleasant with customers is part of the job. Madam, if you could pay attention to this, we would be grateful.

Nice place to relax and enjoy - very good cuisine and cakes.

I've been coming here on and off for a few years. I haven't been back to eat since their last renovations.. and today we were very disappointed with the service.. 3 people in the room, one behind the counter and we waited a long time, nodding and looking at the servers as if we had something to ask. After 30 minutes I had to ask the waiter to take our order.. Who replied "I thought we had taken". We all did some service, excuse yourself and that's it. But apparently not so sorry. The people who arrived 20 minutes after us got their food at the same time.. The pie was obviously delicious as usual, the carrot cake a little too sweet but hey.. 45 minutes to eat a slice of pie for 15€ is boring .. and then on top of that we had completely different accompaniments even though we had the same pies? I will come back because it is good at your place but please… the service was better before

Very nice atmosphere, friendly wait staff, expansive tea and drink list and stellar savoury Tarte.

Excellent welcome, attentive team, absolutely sumptuous quiches, truly homemade, so tasty. And the pastries......a great time with an absolutely superb backyard!
