A very good institution - a cozy atmosphere, I recommend visiting👌 The staff is friendly, they speak a little English. I was with my child, they were having dinner. The child was treated to lemonade. Dinner + ice cream dessert cost 43 euros. It was delicious 🤤

I wanted to practice my French at the place but the waiter insisted on using English. Excellent onion soup and if you take the external side tables you have a nice view of the Place de Vosges.

15/03/2024: A very small and old place, not very clean, friendly welcome, basic menu and generous portions. We took a Bobun, the meat was good, the nems were excellent but the rice vermicelli was decidedly overcooked and had little sauce, and the samoussas were large with a good filling but full and full of oil!

23/05/2024: Loved it here! We walked up without a reservation on a weekday, the crowd seemed to be mostly people on their lunch break, the house was pretty full. Server was nice and offered a short wait for a table, we decided to sit at the bar instead. It was a good choice, the bartenders and wait staff were attentive and also made jokes with us. Food was very good, especially the crème brûlée. We had oysters, a chicken Caesar salad and duck confit. Oysters, and chicken Caesar salad were excellent, I don’t have enough experience with duck confit to give it a comparative review, but I liked it. One of my favorite stops on our multi day trip to Paris, I would go out of my way to come back here on my next trip.
