Welcoming place, very friendly staff, it is the HQ of Besançon.

Very nice bar near Doubs with a very pleasant terrace to have a drink. The atmosphere is very good, the prices acceptable and the staff are very pleasant.

the decor is quite heavy, all in very heavy wood (a matter of taste) and the prices too, it's definitely better in summer with the terrace...

Certainly I don't find there the atmosphere of the period when we met during the friends' days, at that time it was the B.U., the Brasserie Universelle with the scopitones and other pinball machines... (nostalgia). I still really like this Brass'éliande with its wide choice of beers. A beautiful terrace on a superb site, Place Jouffroy in Besançon.
