Le Cartusien sur Sainte-Croix-En-Jarez

If you pass through this cute little village, stop at this restaurant. Simple and good food. Homemade desserts. The service was a little long but there were a lot of people on this day of the ascension. The owners and waiters are very friendly. The lamb shank is excellent!

Very good dishes (Oceane plates and charcuterie plate, crème brûlée, chocolate cream), friendly waiters, we recommend.

Good food but nothing extraordinary (very basic). Warm goat’s cheese on a slice of brioche toast, I’ve never seen it before. Homemade desserts. Service a little long, but very friendly team.

Great restaurant, welcoming, we arrived at 4 to 2 p.m. and they accepted us without problem even though there was a crowd, thanks to them, we will come back

Very good restaurant in the heart of a magnificent village. The meal was excellent, I recommend the lamb shank. The equipment is very nice and takes great care. I highly recommend you will be delighted with this discovery and not to spoil anything with the chartreuse. We will come back.

A big thank you to Aymeric and Olivier for this superb experience! The food is excellent and inexpensive! However, the difference is made thanks to the warm atmosphere and good humor that hovers in this restaurant! Whether for a drink or a bite to eat, Le Cartusien brings together locals and welcomes travelers to integrate them into this atypical atmosphere. Country restaurant just opposite the chartreuse.

We had a pleasant time as a family. We had to remove some cutlery the same morning as the reservation and the person was very understanding. The meal was very good (special mention for the cold meats which melted in the mouth) and the prices were fair. thank you for your welcome
