Very nice brasserie because of the setting and the welcome but also what is offered on the plate. A friendly place as we like them 💓

I never miss having lunch in this brasserie when I'm passing through the neighborhood. Draft beer, egg mayonnaise, AAAAA andouillette with fries and chocolate mousse constitute an immutable rite. The staff is very friendly and the quality is consistent.

Tradition is everything. At the Central Café there are no flashing LEDs, 4K TVs or “new age” music. People come here for the humble cuisine of the French brasserie. Classics often lightly and intelligently reinvented - the beef bourguignon with chanterelles delighted me. A string of St-Pourçain, the frank and republican smile of the service staff and the Gaullian presence of the boss behind his counter are enough to make you feel safe, even like family. Whether you are a regular or just passing through Paris, you will always find a haven of peace at the Central Café.

Best homemade fries! They are sometimes undercooked, but when you know the chef, you can make a suggestion ;-) I love this little bistro when I come to work. This is my canteen! Ask for homemade mayonnaise ;-)
