Le Contoir des Marais, a name originally from a portmanteau between “storytelling” and a “story”, generating a play on words.... Beautiful place with a pub atmosphere, populated by frogs...offering good, simple and generous cuisine...excellent fish and ships and "top-notch" Brioche French toast, served by empathetic and dynamic staff. A very nice discovery.

We were recommended by our host and what a nice surprise! We shared a charcuterie and cheese board, as pictured. Regarding the dishes: For meat lovers, the grilled SA andouillette was accompanied by fries and salad. The Atomik hamburger consisted of buns, cream, Tomme, onions, tomatoes, chorizo ​​and minced steak. The La Contoir salad was prepared with green salad, potatoes, tomatoes, andouille sausage, bacon, apples and Camembert toast. The service was appreciable, and we were made very welcome by the staff. The atmosphere was excellent, and although we were passing through as tourists, we could see a warm atmosphere of regulars, which was very pleasant to see.
