Everything is perfect at kikalou, it's our canteen when we want to treat ourselves (because we have a real canteen...😁). Tarte tatin or lemon tart, killer.

Passing through this Friday on the road for the weekend, we had lunch in this restaurant following the positive reviews. We enjoyed ourselves, chicken strips with pepper sauce and fish with sorrel sauce accompanied by a multitude of fresh vegetables. For dessert, apple rhubarb tart and trio of chocolates. The chef was concerned about whether the pepper sauce was too strong for our 7 year old boy who was enjoying it and even offered to pack the rest of his dessert for a snack! The kind of attention you rarely see and which is nice. We eat main course and dessert for €20, a really decent price with home cooking and a very commercial welcome.
