We were seated on a bench where there was broken glass following an infraction the day before. I took a Miramar plancha, the prawns were raw, I had only one shell and the vegetables were a ratatouille that could come out of a can. For 31 euros per dish I expected fresh grilled vegetables. And a better assortment The average service we had to ask several times for water which almost arrived at the end of the meal. We had the impression of annoying the waiter. Too bad because the place is nice.

Everything we order is very delicious. Expensive prices, like everything in France, but it's worth it. The restaurant is very nice. The desserts are spectacular!

Very good restaurant, very welcoming! A very organized service by their team! The view of the sea from the terrace is magnificent! A place not to be missed in Canet! I highly recommend ! And enjoy your meal !!!

01/01/2024: Pleasant waiter/s. Menu for New Year's Eve, copious, only downside: the scallops were frozen even on the plate.
16/12/2023: Very pleasant concert evening at the Fried Bar. Great atmosphere. Congratulations to Jacques for his veal blanquette. I recommend this place.

Restaurant Le Carre

19/11/2023: The setting is beautiful, that’s undeniable. The meal was OK, but the ice cream served without anything for the price we paid, I was very disappointed.
10/09/2023: 3rd visit in the space of 2 years and still perfect. The dishes are fabulous and the owner and her staff are just adorable! The menu offers a wide choice of dishes, all based on fresh produce (you can feel it from the first bite!) and the shaded terrace is absolutely beautiful. Only (small) downside: the heat... although we are in the shade and in the open air, the configuration of the place and the huge planchas in the kitchens (open to the room) mean that the temperature in the room can quickly rise !
