Just a few short steps away from our hotel and on the sun drenched side of Rue des Abbesses, which made it a good spot for breakfast and lunch, we even had late night dessert here. It was always busy and we had warm welcomes.
Definitely classic French bistro but not everything hit the mark. Our breakfast - set at €9 for the classic continental or €14 with addition of omelette and yoghurt was great.
I had the Croque monsieur for lunch one day which was a bit bland (better in my local French boulangerie in the UK), but my wife's Quiche lorraine was magnificent. Food was very good to average overall and prices a little steep, but we noticed a lot of the bistros were like this or hugely expensive the closer you got to a view!

Impeccable service! But very poor value for money. 3 pieces of fried chicken (reheated) and a few salad leaves for €18… that’s what they call a Caesar salad. I've had better and I'm still hungry...the prices are expensive here.

We had breakfast in this café and were satisfied... Don't expect great delicacies, but both the coffee and the brioche weren't bad. Characteristic environment and fast and punctual service.

Superb experience in this Parisian brasserie where you rub shoulders with the locals.
We were welcomed by the waiter Pierre, a big thank you for a superb and pleasant service.

Great, buzzing little bistro in Montmartre. Omelette was great but our hotdog never arrived and we were told there was an issue with the grill so my daughter ended up with a (small) bowl of chips! Not great but could have been. Other food coming out looked good too.
