Ok it’s nice and we eat well there. The Arte film made me want to go there. It’s very noisy (insistent accordionist and singer) and it’s difficult to have a conversation at the table. This is undoubtedly the principle - but is it really authentic? Or just a postcard like the one we find on our tables? 🤔

This was the highlight of our trip to Paris. We went for Edith Piaf night and it was a ton of fun. The Piaf wine was especially good and the food was very tasty too.

We once again felt very comfortable. Great atmosphere, hospitality and very good food. Singing with Ninel is always a great pleasure. We always enjoy coming back. Now you can already recognize us :) Kind regards from Gelsenkirchen.

Un endroit unique en son genre dans Paris ! Si tu n’as pas encore passé un moment en famille ou entre amis au Vieux Belleville, il n’est jamais trop tard !!

Es wurde extra für uns geöffnet. Essen gut, Livemusik der Extraklasse. Ohne Speisekarte hat uns der Preis doch überrascht.

01/05/2024: Very good and copious servings of tuna tartare and blanquette de veau. They were out of Sole Meunière, which is what my wife had been looking forward to; her John Dory fish was good but not great. Service is a little harried.
30/04/2024: C'est magnifique! My husband and I eat a lot of lamb and this was arguably the best lamb we’ve ever had. I tried the pigeon and was not disappointed. Beautiful balance of flavors and their short but well chosen (spécial selection) wine list was super. Merci!

05/04/2024: Best café in the neighborhood. Great French food, the service is probably the friendliest in Paris, you can feel that the owner does everything to make it into the best place possible . Go get your coffee there in the morning if you want a real Parisian experience.
19/03/2024: My my my ! How good and cheap it was! Parmesan cream shells or low-temperature chicken and homemade mash... for an unbeatable price in such a beautiful area. We loved the Cantal onion soup and WOW WOW WOW the cheesecake!!! But what a recipe! I don't usually like cheesecake, but when you put a speculoos biscuit underneath, a little lemon and a red fruit coulis... it gives a very balanced, light and exquisite mixture. Thank you to the cooks for their talent, to the waiters for their kindness, and to the designers for the atmosphere and the beautiful place. I'll be back !
