As soon as you arrive, you will receive a warm welcome. The decoration is superb, chic old bar, no fuss. The servers are very friendly and what a joy to eat good meat! Hearty dishes and excellent quality products. We will come back with pleasure!

Lunch was fine but expensive for what we experienced and we live in Northern California and expect to pay $$$ for food. When we arrived, we were asked if we had reservations and when we said no we were ushered into a side room with only two other people in the room. It remained that way throughout our meal while the main room appeared to have filled up. While we thought this was odd, it ended up being nice and quiet and our service was still very good. We ordered the foie gras to start which was quite nice followed by the fish special of the day and the chicken supreme with spring vegetables. Mine was uninspired but my husband enjoyed the fish. Dessert was a fun chocolate dish that was beautifully presented. I had 2 reasonably priced glasses of wine and we each had espressos and it came to 127 euro which seemed high for the quality and experience. Found it through the Michelin Guide and we walked past it near the Place du Clochure.

Disappointing experience!! Reading the reviews of our compatriots I expected much more. We ate a bland and insignificant cod fish. I reported our complaints to the manager at the time of the bill, but this was unfortunately very salty.... I would have expected at least a discount on coffee which was also to be forgotten...

One of the best places to eat well in St. Emilion, The mushroom cream with asparagus cream is sensational, in other words they have good cuisine, the place is very nice, as well as good service

09/05/2024: Friendly restaurant under a stone arch. Menus at very reasonable prices. Top service, friendly waiter, available and smiling. Hearty and good dishes. I recommend the roasted Camembert.
09/05/2024: Charming troglodyte restaurant, very typical, fresh cuisine and young, friendly service. Very very reasonable in terms of price compared to the surrounding average. Service in the middle of a rush a little slow but that explains it.
