L'envie, France sur Aix-En-Provence

We had a great time coming to L’Envie! The egg starter with cream of mushroom soup is really delicious. The setting is very very nice and the service really top. Thank you again for this beautiful evening!!

The food was “ok.” But I didn’t enjoy a single bite. I was seated (in a small cave) behind a large group including 2 small children, both of whom were unsurprisingly restless. And the parents were largely awol. The killer came when one of the parents decided it would be ok to change the older child’s ( who appeared to be 3-4) nappy at the table… so Lucy for enjoying dinner. Just ick, and staff was awol.

We came to discover this restaurant for the first time! We enjoyed the evening but we have some reservations and comments to make: - The price of starters (around 20th) and that of dishes (around 30th) naturally tend to take the menu because we already find ourselves at the price of the menu (52nd). As much as it is not uncommon to see dishes at these prices for the main courses, but regarding the starters, I find the price not justified in relation to the proposals. - Overall on the dishes, there is a lack of a wow effect, the foie gras crème brûlée is quite neutral, the accompaniment of the turbo as well and the lemon shell also lacked surprise - 50% of the dessert menu missing and replace with desserts that are difficult to justify at 12th (a tarte tatin and a strawberry cake) - 2 euros more on the cheese plate on the menu when it only costs 1e more on the menu? - The wine list is very short (around 10 wines), the prices skyrocket quickly: not a wine under 28th excluding the Cubis pitcher and the second wine already at 39th… In the end, despite a nice setting and flawless service, we left feeling mixed.

The food was tasty and the portion is huge!!!! Nice ambience and quick service. I loved the flank steak and the chocolate moose. It is so nice!!!

We came to eat Friday night with my pregnant wife and it was amazing! The team takes great care, excellent dishes and the perfect decor, we thank you! We'll come back when the event that awaits us has passed! (PS: Madame is wrong, monsieur is right (as always but they have difficulty accepting it), so it's a girl that we are going to have! See you again in September then! Good luck for the season!

A magnificent discovery in Aix-en-Provence, for our Easter weekend A pure treat, a hidden place to discover with your eyes closed, a welcoming team, with great care, fine and inventive cuisine, fresh regional products and 🤯 what an explosion of flavors!!! Even the music playlist in the background is Top! (Eclectic) Honestly deserves to be known even if we understand their desire to remain in a certain anonymity to continue to please and have fun. We will come back without hesitation and recommend +++++

We had a wonderful creative and delicious meal at L’envie! So cozy and fun in the cave. The service was also superb.

An atypical place, extraordinary cuisine, attentive staff and a playlist that made us sing. It all sums up a perfect dinner and what we expect from a good restaurant. Thank you for this timeless moment.

Super welcoming and warm staff, good food, a little long wait between dishes (40-45min)
