Sunday evening at the end of May, visiting friends who took care to reserve a table for 7. Warm welcome, we go upstairs...the waiters we meet greet us with good evening, good evening... We feel the professional and relaxed atmosphere. Our table is waiting for us and the cards arrive very quickly. Caesar salad for those who are hungry, truffade for those with a sweet tooth and I opt for 1 beef tartare... I ask for it “unprepared” if possible and the server accedes to my request without difficulty. My plate is generous, excellent fries, small salad...I enjoy it.. The other guests are delighted with the truffade (they don't even let me taste it) and the Caesar salad is also unanimous..We replace the Langedoc red which is out of stock with 1 Bougueil...excellent choice.. Crème brûlée, ice cream, tiramisu and fresh fruit salad round off this wonderful discovery. All for the modest sum of €26 per person... Well done to the Chef, well done to the team in the dining room A brewery address to recommend without moderation.. Oh no, I forgot...I used to frequent this establishment before but at the time there was 1 mini jukebox on each table, it was in 1978, 1979...and I had fewer gray hairs!

I have never been disappointed by this restaurant, whether it is the salads, the meats, the service, my wife and I love eating there, especially when the weather is nice. The service is excellent, the prices attractive, that's my opinion, after all, there are shits everywhere.

Decent brewery, nothing more. The service is top notch, efficient and smiling staff. The cuisine lacks a bit of audacity. I had the trout as a starter, served with three poor salad leaves, the cod served with a ready-made sauce which does not add value to this fish, slippery pasta without taste and a tiramisu that was just ok. While passing through Montluçon, we were very well received on a busy evening and we and our son ate well. Special mention for the local wine (Saint Pourçain) and for the kindness of Olivier who was adorable and great with our son
