We came for lunch as a family and had a great time! Super warm welcome, typical setting nicely decorated and we ate very well!

This restaurant is really very good, a real Lyonnais cork as we like everything homemade, we're eating there today at noon (the table of 5) and it's really a treat, plus the waiters and the owners are super nice, we'll be back this is for sure!! Go there with your eyes closed!!

By chance, we chose this restaurant and the very friendly owner made us wait and placed us without reservation. The friendly atmosphere in this Lyonnais cork in the heart of Saint-Jean seduced us, excellent pike quenelle soufflé with shellfish sauce (with egg meurette), we enjoyed ourselves and we will come back without hesitation. I highly recommend!

I went to Le Ventre Jaune 2 weeks ago, and I was totally won over by the excellent cuisine that this restaurant offers. Small recommendation for the quenelle!! We will also note the professionalism of the staff and the efficiency of the service. I had a great time. I highly recommend this restaurant.

10/05/2024: Super good. The dishes arrive to us on the conveyor belt. You can see the cook preparing the sushi in front of you. The team is welcoming and warm. Very affordable price!

Bouchon des Carnivores

20/05/2024: Restaurant on rue des Marroniers. Like any tourist, I wanted to taste the famous Lyonnais corks. Small outdoor terrace. The interior is superbly decorated. It feels like a butcher's shop. Everything is in its own juice and takes us back 50 years. The servers are not friendly or commercial. The menu is typically Lyonnaise. You can eat it either in the form of a meal or in the form of a dish. I opt for the sausage with Beaujolais sauce as a starter and the chicken liver cake and quenelle. The entrance is very ordinary. 4 pieces of sausage bathed in the sauce. The chicken liver cake is not bad. Cappuccino more than ordinary. The chef spends his time on his cell phone which is not very professional.
