Mamalu sur Antibes

We had dinner tonight and were really impressed by the friendliness of the Italian manager, as well as the food and the environment. Italy in France... but the real one!

Amazing seafood pasta - speciality of the house!

Mamalu is popular for a reason. Its food is outstanding. Booking is essential. They are a small outfit and as such you must be patient and ready for slow service. It’s the way it is there and it frustrates many a customer. Just look at the reviews. But if you go with an open mind, relax, don’t rush and want incredible Italian food then you won’t be disappointed. It’s packed out every night for a reason. Their lasagne is something special as is the carbonara.

We were there 2 nights ago n we go back tonight. Kids loved the lasagna n carbonara truffle... we had a lovely table beside the kitchen and we had a chat with the two brothers that are Italian from lac como and own the place.. I had the salmon n my wife the sea bream... very nice dishes... nice red italian wines...
