Mantel Restaurant sur Cannes

I went to this affiliated store [UVA] two days ago. I came to this store this time because the food was delicious and it felt new 🍽️💐 The restaurant is run by a lovely family and has been around for 22 years! The quality of the food was perfect and I could feel their years of experience and skill💪🏾 However, the restaurant is not old and is modern and fashionable, so I thought it would be perfect for a date or a meal with a large group of people 😊💕 The staff at the store were all smiling and polite, and I felt that they had a great atmosphere and got along well. The cauliflower was very chewy and delicious, and the asparagus was so thick and delicious that I had never seen it before in Japan 😆 And finally, I ordered the recommended lamb chops, medium rare. It was soft, juicy and very delicious, I loved it 🐏💓 Anyway, all the dishes are delicious so I recommend it 🎶 The restroom was also clean, beautiful, spacious and safe🫶🏻✨ It rained all day today, but dinner was a great way to end the day🍽️💕 I think it's the best restaurant❣️ My favorite restaurant in Cannes 🍽️ If I come to Cannes again, I will definitely come back 🐶🫶🏻✨

Great restaurant recommendation for Cannes. It’s in the city centre and is highly recommended. The food was wonderful/ service was excellent/ not a very exhaustive menu but whatever we ordered was delicious. We had the steak as shown in the pictures and tiramisu as desert / both were delicious and very good. Some of my friends had the ravioli and that was delicious too. Good wine list to accompany too ! We were expecting an experience worthy of a Michelin starred restaurant. Am afraid to say this restaurant DEFINITELY DID NOT live up to what I read and expected. It was more like what some of the lower ranked reviews wrote. Acceptable Food, bad and dishonest service asking for us for a service tip when that is not the case anywhere in France especially given the service was subpar. Maybe it was the American accent or whatever. Specifics: 0. Squash Blossoms appetizer was outstanding as was the Foiegras. 1. The John Dory entree was excellent as was the Risotto. The lobster ravioli was submerged in cream sauce and hard to tell quality of lobster meat. 2. Restaurant is understandably not kid-friendly but servers do not have to be rude to paying customers. 3. We requested butter for the kids and the wait staff came back with it as if she was doing us an incredible favor. 4. Wine List is outstanding and sommelier was knowledgeable enough. 5. Desserts were very good . 6. Grappa was listed on the digestive menu and requested only for the sommelier to come back and say the ran out of it. Really in Cannes at a Michelin starred restaurant ..? Pro tip: If you want to experience a proper Michelin starred restaurant .. go to Tokyo instead and you will see the level of and class of service.

Not sure what's happening, we all find out the meat tasty is not as good as my last time visiting in Oct 2023. Many my friends who ever dined here over past decades are also have the same comment.

Five stars for this gem of a place. The waitresses were so lovely and on top of everything they also allow dogs which was a huge plus. The food was incredible, we loved it all. Will be back for sure

Pleasant and cozy atmosphere. Refined cuisine and attentive service. We had a very pleasant time.

Everything was good, but the quantities were very small for the price (More than €200 for 2 people / €10 for sparkling water made on site: not admissible). Dinner in a small room whose decoration is not at all up to the standard of the establishment, too bad.

Pur nel complesso risultando la cena discreta ,rispetto allo scorso anno ho apprezzato un calo per quanto attiene alla qualità e quantità dei piatti ; in particolare la scelta della materia prima , meno accurata ( vedi la carne ) ma anche i vegetali di guarnizione del piatto sono risultati meno curati . Sala bella per vista sulla cucina ma quando piena molto rumorosa . Nella carta dei vini occorre che siano evidenziate le bottiglie non disponibili .
