Living in Japan for 20 years, passionate about cooking, dreaming of opening a French family cuisine restaurant in Japan and originally from Tours, I visited Nobuki for the first time this winter and I was totally amazed. I am often generous with the rating, so I am disappointed not to be able to give it a 10/5. Everything is there. The service, the products, the work of the products, the wine and Japanese alcohol list, the authenticity, the kindness, everything. Even in Japan, you have to hang on to find a restaurant of this level. Yes, it's expensive. But good products, sourced correctly, are expensive. Yes, it's only open at lunchtime, except Fridays, because yes, restaurateurs also have the right to a certain quality of life, and to maintain such a level, we cannot hire staff regardless. how to do anything when the boss is not there. Because yes, a quality Japanese restaurant doesn't operate without its chef, that's how it is. Yes, there is little choice, but you can't source products of this quality and offer 15 dishes, it's impossible. The only negative point, which we discussed with the chef, is that he does not highlight the origin of his products. He does a crazy job sourcing his vegetables and fish, and when a chef does this work, I want to know! In short, doing that in France is not easy, so great respect.

For those who cannot afford a trip to Japan, this address will take you there for a very reasonable price. Nothing to complain about, everything is perfect, I even discovered a wine from elsewhere (Vin Roux) particularly well suited to Japanese cuisine!! We will come back to it!

We had two bentos one lunchtime. It was absolutely excellent! The bento offered a variety of products (soup, salad, rice, fish and makis). The quantities were more than sufficient and the value for money was perfect. We will come back to eat there!

I came to eat last week for my partner's birthday. This is without a doubt the best Japanese restaurant I have been to. The welcome is very professional as well as the various advice given. As for the dishes, they are just excellent. I can't wait to come back.

A pure Japanese restaurant in Tours. Even in Paris, it is rare to come across such a high quality Japanese restaurant. Open only on weekdays, dinner only on Fridays. Dinner reservations are said to be fully booked months in advance. Advance reservations are also required for lunch. I was lucky to be able to make a reservation over the phone before noon that day. All the dishes were delicious as expected. I ordered sashimi as an appetizer, the daily bento box as a main dish, and an assortment of desserts and a cafe set for dessert. The atmosphere of the shop is very Japanese-like and I am very satisfied. I definitely want to visit this store when I go to Tours.

Unquestionably the best Japanese restaurant in the region! If you want to discover something other than sushi, go there!! Rarely friendly staff. The price of success is that you have to book well in advance to enjoy Friday dinner.

Rien a dire, l'accueil, le service, la qualité, l’originalité, tout y est. Les vins sont excellents et pour toutes les bourses. Seul reproche ouvert tous les midis du Lundi au Vendredi mais que le vendredi soir, sur réservation obligatoire

Accueil très prévenant, couvert très "zen", sol en ardoises. Première expérience de cuisine japonaise. Une réussite. Plats excellents, service de qualité. Tout parfait. Et en plus menu très digeste. Nous voyons les deux dames japonaises préparant les plats. Sympatique. Petit restaurant, mais grande adresse.
