Oréade Restaurant et Balnéo sur Saint-Pierre-De-Chartreuse

A very good balneotherapy experience, in a peaceful and very soothing setting. I really appreciated the heated outdoor baths which are at the ideal temperature in my opinion. A small parasol or canvas would be nice above the baths for days when it rains. The relaxation area is very relaxing, the drinks available are nice. The sauna is also very good, spacious and pretty. Regarding the restaurant, I ate well even if I was a little unsatisfied with the seasonings and quantities, but the dish options are interesting. I will definitely come back for the spa, and perhaps occasionally at the restaurant.

I received a gift voucher for a balneotherapy session at L'Oréade. All the baths are outdoors and heated to 39°C except one which has cold water, a yurt is available to quench your thirst over tea, an infusion or a cold drink and there is a sauna. The day I came, it was cold and snowing so the outing was not easy but once in one of the baths, it was a delight. The panorama is sublime, at the foot of the mountains, the snow and you lounging in a nice hot bath... I loved it! What's more, you can stay from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. for the morning session, which leaves time to savor the experience... The negative points in my opinion: lack of drinks options. In fact, I don't drink tea or infusions and don't like lemon so all that remained was water (a hot chocolate would have been appreciated). In addition, lending a bathrobe would be wise because, with this cold, it would have been a good omen! I haven't tried the treatments and massages offered, or even the restaurant, but I intend to repeat the experience because it's a beautiful place to relax happily...

Shy originality on the plate, where the treat is a little more for the pupils than for the taste buds. On the other hand, we are touched by the kindness and the little care that flutters around the table. And above all, switching from a restaurant to balneotherapy means switching from a little moment of happiness to a little corner of paradise. To recommend.

I love going to Oreade, for a moment of relaxation it's the best! But what a change the seats in the uncomfortable yurt, the very very hot saunas not as usual, more people and fewer places and some of the staff not very smiling. Damage ! !!
