Picorette sur Granville

We had been recommended this establishment for its Théodor teas and we had already been there 3 years ago so without hesitation, for a well-deserved snack, we headed to Picorette. The waitress presents us with an IMPRESSIVE tea menu and a “pastry” menu. We spend a moment choosing what would please us and the waitress comes back to take the order. UNFORTUNATELY none of the teas chosen were available. A long list of teas was no longer on the menu. We therefore opted for other teas (knowing that tea prices vary between €4.90 and more than €8). When the waitress came back to serve us, the tea leaves were no longer in the teapots, the teas having been infused in the kitchen 🤔. Consequences: I like my tea brewed to my liking and it was too brewed, I only drank a cup. And the teas were almost lukewarm. As for pastries, even in Granville, I refuse to pay €8 for a slice of plain flan!😱 There are other very nice places in the city where the teas and pastries are not only more original but also more accessible in terms of price and above all available, all in equally charming environments. It’s probably worth a little searching 😉🍵🥮

Very cute tea room with an absolutely amazing tea offering. There must be close to 200 different ones to accompany with succulent pastries. The scores were very good! On the way out you can buy tea and goodies.

Nice place with lots of products, and very good tea. Perfect for a break on the terrace. Top notch service. I recommend.

Second experience at Picorette. The pasteis de nata are excellent, as are the choux pastries. The flan is good, but we found the puff pastry a little greasy, which spoils the pleasure a little. We have been surprised. It's homemade and it's perfect, but we really didn't like the fat in the dough. This is the first time we've eaten a flan with fatty puff pastry. Besides, this flan would be a treat with a sweet pastry.

I didn't really like the hot chocolate. I don't know why, but it had a taste that I didn't like. I usually take it without sugar, so that's not the problem... The flan tastes good, but the puff pastry is very oily. Damage. With a sweet pastry, it would be divine. 8€ per piece of flan, it's a bit expensive, but there is vanilla. We see the grains.

I recommend this lovely place. Everything is delicious, smiling, welcoming people.....A little break that really feels good. The Christmas pavlova, a killer. The essential scones... And a huge choice of tea. In short, go there with your eyes closed.

Another great moment at Picorette on Valentine's Day where an appetizer and a delicious chai were offered to us. The welcome remains as warm as ever, the dishes of great quality.
