It was Sunday for lunch.The restaurant was very busy with locals. The food is honest decent food.Service was good considering how crowded it was.

The “Sunday menu” at €33 (€51 with aperitif and 1 glass of wine) very disappointing. Not bad of course, but very average (for the "gratin dauphinois" the cook can find real recipes on the internet (but his potato bread does not deserve this name). What a drop in quality since the change of ownership.

Sunday lunch: tranquility and excellence of the cuisine, friendly and careful service. The decor is a little gray on gray, but not unpleasant. A very good address that I recommend without hesitation.

I recommend 100%! Having received a meal in this restaurant as a gift, we were pleasantly surprised by the dishes which were excellent! The prices are very reasonable for such quality! Although we encountered a small problem during payment, the staff was very responsive and friendly. So we came back to eat the next day because we were not disappointed! Thank you again for these good dishes and thank you to Jessica who was very patient 😊

Very good restaurant, affordable for quality dishes! It was really good. Top notch service. Mini downside for the soft chocolate with chestnut cream, which we didn't feel. However, the speculoos cheesecake was delicious.

Dommage, la carte affiche un menu à 22 ou 26 euros ....mais 9 plats sur 10 affichent aussi un supplément de 3 à 7 euros selon le plat choisi !!! Enfin il y a tellement de choix sur la carte que nous avons douté de la fraicheur des plats et nous avons été déçus par le manque de saveur...... bref pas mauvais mais moyen compte tenu du prix !

02/04/2024: Short tourist stay in Jonzac. We came to eat 4 times to tell you how much we enjoyed it. For our evening reservation we were put aside the dish that we had spotted on the menu. Three times the daily menu, always different from starter to dessert. Dishes with fresh produce, and if possible from the market. Beautiful presentation, great flavor. A big thank you to the cook and his collaborator for all the passion put into his preparations. Perfect service, fast, always with a smile. The boss is very welcoming. I had trouble understanding moderate or bad comments. Bravo and good luck.

13/01/2024: Best pizza service in Jonzac, without hesitation! We took from competitors, never completely convinced by the quality of the pizzas or the service or the friendliness…. We found all three last night, finally! The dough is thin, the pizzas are generous and excellent. The gentleman is pleasant and punctual. We know where we'll go for the next pizzas!
28/10/2023: I'm not going to mince my words because Eric deserves it, at the risk of seeing too many people flocking to his truck and having to wait to taste his delicious pizzas! In addition to punctuality and friendliness, the pizzas offered in this food truck are quite simply the best in the area, and I have tried some. So I arrive at the end of a quest, that of finding everything I'm looking for in a pizza and having it within reach! Indeed, Eric's menu evolves with the seasons and he offers both classics but also original and gourmet creations that you absolutely must try. The dough is fine, the ingredients are quality and there is always a little extra touch like chives on the cheese. You will have understood from my praise, I recommend without reservation!
