18/01/2024: Great little place to taste champagne from independent winemakers. Me and my partner had an enjoyable tasting experience and were served 4 glasses (each) which was just the right amount. Lovely choice of champagne, Didier Ducos brut was the best out of 4, and a good informative tasting. Definitely recommend this place, especially if you want to try champagne that is not mass-produced.

21/12/2023: My friend and I were disappointed. Pourings were very small, less than a 1/4 of a serve and the explanations lacked the detail I have experienced at other wine tastings. For 70 euro per person it was not good value. With 8 people there was still more than 1/2 bottle left. What do they do with this? It’s likely they keep it for the next class which is in a few hours - so the champagne has been sitting there. The person we had kept leaving in between the tastings for long periods of time. So we just sat around waiting for him to come back. Then he would quickly come down, pour a tiny bit of champagne in each persons glass and then go back upstairs. He mentioned they were short staffed that day but the shop upstairs really should have been closed for 45mins if this was the case. We didn’t receive much explanation about the champagne regions, or any of the other champagnes in the cellar. The cellar is also extremely crowded with boxes and was quite dusty. It could use a good clean. We thought the four tastings were lovely and the champagne was very nice. Considering the prices of the champagne we tried (2x around 40 euro, one for 60 and one for 95) we didn’t think the tasting price at 17.50 euro per tasting was worth the price. With hindsight, I would visit the shop and buy a bottle to enjoy, or from any another champagne shop in Paris. (We still purchased a few bottles afterwards!) Update: your response is not correct. The pours were definitely not 8cl as you can see from my photos. There was dust everywhere and on everything. The place has obviously not been cleaned for a long time. Please don’t try to mislead others and just improve your service.
