Despite the comments we tried. The gentleman did not take reservations but he told us that if we arrived by noon sharp. There were no worries. Indeed, the boss is not very cheerful and is suspicious. But everything went well. We ate very well, without much waiting. The server was friendly as all hell.

Delicious place but they made us pay for extra cutlery even though we only asked for one cutlery it cost 3 euros

La Diligence

20/05/2024: Very nice, pleasant and well thought out setting. Well presented dish and decent cuisine. I recommend.
25/04/2024: During our visit to Riquewhir, we had the opportunity to discover this restaurant. A magnificent storefront with an attractive menu. It took a little while to receive the menu card, but this was quickly replaced by the waitresses who were pleasant and cheerful. A tarte flambée entitled “la diligence” was chosen, as well as veal escalope with Munster sauce. Everything was delicious and the quantities were plentiful. A warm atmosphere with beautiful decoration.

Restaurant La Taverne Alsacienne

31/03/2024: One of the best meals we had in the Alsace region. I had the flammkuchen Gratinee and Gewürztraminer. Lovely ambience and gracious staff.
27/03/2024: We liked it a lot. Very delicious Alsatian food, good price and lovely waitresses. We had tarte flambé and cheese salad
