Le Petit Dakar

19/05/2024: The Petit Dakar is a real gem! The mafé is incredible, and the sauce is simply divine. I have a slight preference for the vegetarian version with sweet potatoes, it's a treat. The menu isn't huge, but that's where the magic lies: the quality is truly felt in each plate.
I had the pleasure of eating there with my little sister and my big brother, and we all loved it. The service is pleasant and professional, which adds a nice touch to the experience.
I highly recommend this address to anyone who wants to enjoy an excellent African meal.

Marie the chef is a pearl of sweetness and this is felt in the dishes.

Very friendly atmosphere.
Vegetarian mafé, alocos skewers, plate of raw vegetables and gourmet coffee, excellent and very well served, nice portion of the starter, main course and dessert.
Affordable prices.
I highly recommend this little gem of Dakar.

30/04/2024: La Ruche a Miel is a cosy restaurant serving real Moroccan food. Having actually lived in (not merely visited) Morocco, I can modestly say that I know good from poor Moroccan food, and what is offered at La Ruche is most definitely good. Add in a warm welcome and efficient and friendly service, and you have real value for money. So if you want a real Moroccan meal in Paris that doesn't break the bank, make a bee-line for La Ruche!
28/04/2024: Fréquentant très souvent ce restaurant , nous ne sommes jamais déçus . Les couscous ou tajines sont très bien réalisés. Accueil sympathique , service rapide , tout est réuni pour passé un excellent dîner . Prix correct .

10/05/2024: I had dinner at this restaurant last night with a friend. The staff made us feel welcome.
Unfortunately, while eating our starter we noticed an incident with a cockroach in my glass of water…
I reported the problem to one of the servers who seemed surprised and apologized. There was no commercial gesture offered in return...
I am not questioning the hygiene of the restaurant, but I hope that this problem will be seriously taken into account to improve the quality of service and ensure that such situations do not happen again in the future…

14/05/2024: Visited from the US. Service was great, the servers were friendly and helpful in translating the menu. Not many vegetarian options but both of the vegetarian dumplings were top tier. Good wine and good prices for everything.
21/04/2024: Good value for money, very fast service (even too fast) Menu for 10€ with a small salad and 10 ravioli of your choice.

Friendly atmosphere feels like home with friends
06/02/2024: It was an unfamiliar food, but thanks to the friendly and cheerful staff, I was able to enjoy my time without difficulty! It was the best lamb I've ever had. It wasn't fishy at all. I adjusted the seasoning by adding a lot of vegetables and a little bit of broth to the couscous, so it wasn't too salty and tasted good.

11/02/2024: Discovered randomly. Excellent cuisine, we have never had spring rolls this good. Homemade cooking, a boss who listens, we feel the pleasure he has in showing us his cuisine. He takes the time with each of his clients.
We had the pleasure of chatting with him at the end of the service. He made us want to go and discover his country.

We appreciated the location, the proximity to Montparnasse station and the metro.
Very good bedding, essential comfort,
first quality in a hotel.
Bathroom with a hand basin as a sink, it's a bit small!
Then, it is a very quiet place, which is a plus.
03/04/2024: Cozy, nice atmosphere, practically furnished room, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast with individual service. On public holidays the metro station in front of the door was helpful; on weekdays the location is perfect for people who are easy to walk and like to go to. B. might like to hike through the Latin Quarter and the Jardin du Luxembourg to the île de la Cité. Or you can use the bus connections, stop in front of the door. Approximately 15 minutes walk to Gare du Montparnasse.
