25/09/2023: We got there by chance...and yet what a joy. The site is magnificent, sheltered from the hubbub of the village square. The cuisine is delicious. The server is very pleasant and friendly. Nothing to say. A very nice discovery.

04/04/2024: If you like quality classic French cuisine, Vivarais is a rare relic to visit. Here there is no search for exotic mixtures that so-called new cuisine is so fond of, only traditional dishes. And what about the cheese and dessert carts, a luxury that remains in few restaurants. So if you pass through Sarras, stop at Vivarais, especially since the prices are reasonable given the quality.

The decor is sublime, the seats are very comfortable
We took the “a bit of two” evening formula with 2 snack dishes per person, 1 hot dish to share and a dessert.
Just at the top! the service is perfect, not too fast, which allows you to do a few poses.
The presentation of the dishes is pretty and original (see photos)
I recommend 100%, the food is good and we are received with a smile and a love of the profession, which is rare!

18/05/2024: Had a wonderful dinner here. The menu has a great selection of dishes including a few things from the Ardeche region and the wine list was great and well priced. The food itself was delicious, generous portions and the slightly smoked beef was absolutely stunning. The owners were very helpful interpreting the menu and offering suggestions and spoke English which was very helpful.

The welcome is warm and smiling, without stress.
The chorizo grande nachos are hearty and excellent.
The quality/price ratio is very reasonable.
11/09/2023: Nice and cozy tent with nice staff. The Belgian waiter was especially nice. It was also great that he shared background information about certain drinks. Food was very tasty and also served quickly. Highly recommended!
