29/05/2024: Total change after our superb evening in the previous gîte (Montbonnet 08/05/2024), the first contact, by way of hello, consists of making us pay straight away to have access to our room, despite the deposit paid at the time of booking . Old-fashioned room, wallpaper to be redone, floor to be redone, tiny, outdated shower cubicle dating from the '60s with curtain to share with another room. And then comes the meal, light nettle soup (no taste), red lentils with rice (no meat), dessert no choice, liquid chocolate dessert impossible to finish. Our worst experience on our Puy en Velay - Conques journey. I won't talk about the overstaffed but inefficient staff. Too bad for the ideal location, but to be avoided. Chantal & Patrice

26/05/2024: I loved the pilgrim's rest. Good welcome, kindness, benevolence. I twisted my ankle and was given an ice pack. The dormitory is brand new, 3 showers, 3 toilets I think, I have a doubt. A washing machine but for a fee. Electric heater. Each bed has its own socket and lamp, blanket and curtain for privacy. Everything is new, it smells like pine, it's very pleasant. The meal was a soup, a vegan shepherd’s pie, delicious 😋. A dessert and the evening was livened up by songs on the guitar. A very nice evening. I slept very well . The breakfast is very good, there is innovation. I recommend without hesitation.

05/04/2024: Stop for breakfast this morning. Excellent!! Welcome, smile and sympathy await you. And to accompany the coffee, good bread, good butter and local cold meats!! (Raw ham and dry sausage!!) Looking forward to a next stop.

04/03/2024: The pizzas are very good, the owner couple are very friendly. I recommend this pizzeria which is right next to Lac du Bouchet!

10/11/2023: We are very disappointed the pizzas are less garnished than before... The blue Tag no longer has the same taste at all. The blue cheese has been replaced by Roquefort... the tagliatelle is almost non-existent... The pizza dough is much thinner... really disappointing!

13/05/2024: Beautiful establishment, good atmosphere.

11/05/2024: We just wanted to have a drink but were told we had to eat. And to have a drink it wasn't until 10:30 p.m. or 11 p.m. So we went elsewhere. We came back another day at 11 p.m. on a Saturday: and there no music, dead silence. We left straight away. This place is not an Irish pub at all. It's just the decor. The Irish spirit does not exist in this place.
