01/06/2024: We ate as a couple, each with a different menu. It was incredibly good and the taste was perfect. The wine accompaniment was perfectly matched to the respective dish. We will be back definitely. We recommend!!!!

We spent an excellent evening in a magnificent setting, a succulent meal from start to finish, a real treat, thanks to the chef for this discovery of finesse and taste, the generosity of these dishes, but also the pleasure for the eyes, and above all his talent !!!! 07/03/2024: I don't really have anything to say about the meal, it was good, nothing more, for a meal in a semi-gourmet restaurant, there was just the starter which was elaborate, otherwise much too expensive for the rest and the service was nothing more..... perhaps he should have been dressed in a suit.

23/03/2024: By far one of the best restaurants we've been to. Everything is impeccable, from the welcome to the service including of course the quality of the dishes. Thank you very much for being able to adapt dishes taking into account fairly restrictive dietary constraints and despite this presenting magnificent, crafted plates that are truly delicious. A truly perfect evening.

16/02/2024: The good points: the staff were polite and the hotel was generally clean The bad points: The hotel was mid-renovation which was not made clear at booking. Only after I had paid (non-refundable) I got an email saying they restaurant and leisure facilities were closed. When I arrived there was bare concrete on the floor and confusing signage to the rooms (the signs were on the floor and not pointing the right way for the room numbers!) Apart from that, the whole hotel was very hot. I had to open my window in the room but the cleaner always closed it so it was hot again when I got back. It was uncomfortable for sleeping and the air-con was both ineffiecient and VERY noisy. The room was very noisy - not that you could hear guests but there was near constant gurgling and plumbing noises from various other rooms. It woke me in the night several times. There was no voile at the window so if you wanted natural light there was no privacy. The room was very dark. There was a desk lamp and a wall lamp, no main light so I struggled to work in there. Overall I was not impressed and would not book again.

12/05/2024: Nous habitons le joli village de Baldersheim depuis quelques années et nous avions reçu des amis à la maison le dimanche 12 mai 2024, ce jour là il faisait très beau et nous avons fait visiter le village à nos amis, et chemin faisant nous nous sommes arrêtés au Restaurant Le Chaval Blanc pour y boire un verre et y manger une glace, il était 15h30 environ et nous étions 6 personnes. Nous nous sommes installés sur la terrasse ou nous étions seul d'ailleurs, donc je suis allé au bar signalé notre présence à la terrasse pour être servi si cela était possible et une jeune serveuse m'a dit que oui qu'elle nous avait vu et que quelqu'un viendrait s'occuper de nous, et je lui ai demandé si je pouvais déjà passé commande puisque j'étais au bar et elle m'a répondu froidement que non pas la peine et qu'un serveur viendrait nous voir. je suis donc retourné en terrasse avec ma femme et nos amis et au bout de 20mn personne n'est venu nous voir et le comble c'est que nous voyons un couple sortir du bar avec des boissons et se mettre à table en terrasse, alors nous nous sommes dit que finalement un serveur ou une serveuse viendrait mais non que nenni, après encore 10mn d'attente nous avons décidé de partir sans avoir pu consommer malheureusement et je suis allé signaler notre départ au bar puisque personne n'avait daigné venir nous servir, et là il y avait 3 serveuses en train d'essuyer de la vaisselle et l'une d'elle m'a demandé ce que je voulais, je lui ai donc dit mon mécontentement de ne pas avoir été servi en terrasse et que nous partions et d'un air " j'en ai rien à faire " m'a répondu " désolé, tant pis c'est pas grave " OUPS !!! je n'en croyais pas mes oreilles. Il va s'en dire que nous ne remettrons pas les pieds dans ce restaurant ou le personnel laisse sacrément à désirer. J'espère que cet avis servira à quelque chose et que les patrons fassent le nécessaire pour régler ce problème lamentable de service, enfin ils feront ce qu'ils voudront mais moi je prendrais ça avec sérieux surtout sur ce bel établissement. Enfin bon voilà, j'ai peut-être été un peu long dans mon avis mais il fallait que je m'explique correctement pour comprendre ce qu'il c'était passé. Je ne vous dit pas à bientôt.
