31/03/2024: Quiet and cozy place. We had some exquisite local cheeses and then a trout and a delicious duck confit. For dessert, a raspberry cake and an exquisite chocolate cake. Very friendly staff.

23/03/2024: I recommend this place with my eyes closed, the products are local, the cuisine is excellent, simple things are often the best, and this is perfectly the case in this restaurant where the warm welcome is added as a bonus. Well done !

08/05/2024: We stopped there for a drink and were completely ignored. You had to get up to order and get up to pay.

21/05/2024: 4 stars ? Really ? A luggage storage service in this type of hotel is logically essential, it would have saved me from having to carry my bag with my heels. Take an example from the Domaine de Rochebois, 30 minutes from home. Disappointing stay, beautiful nasturtium suite but the cleaning still needs to be reviewed, hair on the armchairs, a bottle of white wine opened in the mini bar and the toilet paper already used. No staff at the bar except for cleaning, speaking very loudly, and having to move around in order to be served. Besides, be aware that a bottle of champagne is not served at cellar temperature but fresh/cold especially for 155 euros! The bar service really needs to be reviewed as well, they take us aperitifs to eat when we have finished our drink. We also ordered ham and disgusting "rillettes" with oily and salty bread. Really review your tapas at this price, it's shameful. Last thing, the reception staff gave us 2 invoices that did not concern us before realizing their mistake and were not even aware of the incidents that we had had in our room. Make the transmissions! I do not recommend this so-called 4-star service.

14/05/2024: What a shame to have such a smug, unfriendly and uncommercial manager or owner. We had bedbugs in our rooms, we had no excuses, no offer to change rooms, no commercial gesture!!! But disparaging remarks from the manager Mr. Marc Lombard, that we were in the countryside, that I should not kill them, because it stinks!!! So, you sleep with the bedbugs or he suggests that you use an organic insecticide... and inhale the product. The icing on the cake.... you have to pay the following night, when you leave the premises in a hurry.

11/05/2024: Vegetarians are welcome! We enjoyed ourselves around the brazier and its delicious dishes suitable for lovers of very good meat and it is also tasty for vegetarians! Thank you Chloé and Mathieu for this delicious moment on the occasion of my best friend Lucie’s birthday 🎁🎂🥰🤩

27/03/2024: New Bistrot at Chloé... Extraordinary daily menu at 25th.. Morel scramble and lamb juice, confit farm guinea fowl leg and wok of local vegetables, ideally crispy Madagascar vanilla millefeuille, coffee.. Cloth tablecloths and napkins. Wine list for all tastes Unbeatable value for money. A reference today.

12/05/2024: I highlight the server who is great. It's becoming rare... he does his job very well and very pleasant. Good food. There is something for every taste. I don't think it's all homemade but it's still good. Accessible prices. Very fast.

09/05/2024: What a disappointment to see the restaurants not living up to this beautiful region. The price is reasonable and attractive but you quickly understand why. I don't know the origin of the products in their kitchen but I strongly doubt that they come from the Perigord region. Fortunately it's very touristy and places in a restaurant are expensive to be able to have people on your terrace. In conclusion, the only thing that sets you apart from home is being served. Not bad but definitely not exceptional.
