23/03/2024: Florina is one of those hidden addresses that deserve to be better known. The chef of Spanish origin is very friendly. He also convinced his friend to open a small shop selling Spanish products right next door (I recommend you take a look there). But its cuisine is French, even if it sometimes includes touches of Spanish inspiration, like the (delicious!) Iberian ham croquettes with their side of smoked paprika mousseline. The chef likes to discuss his cuisine as much as he does wines, and he knows his stuff: for example, I tasted a very good Romanian white wine there, and a number of lovely French finds. But above all, the chef is so talented! I've been there more than ten times (I've stopped counting), and I've always had a great time. The dishes are elaborate, tasty, balanced. Even the diced bread is delicious. Every time I say the same thing to myself: why aren't there more people in this room, it's so good! Perhaps the location in the middle of Boulevard Port-Royal, or the decor, has something to do with it. The room is cute but nothing more. But it's nice to be able to see the chef and his sous chef working behind a glass roof located in the room. Allow around 50 Euros for starter/main course/dessert and a glass of wine. 14/05/2024: Quel scoop ! Il existe encore des restaurants à Paris qui ne sont pas des attrapes touristes. L’accueil était nickel, les conseils tout autant. Le repas excellent, la viande et le vin parfaits. Pas pu goûter le rhum proposé gracieusement car boulot le lendemain mais un vrai regret. Une bonne raison d’y retourner…

04/04/2024: Really great food! After Rillettes de l'oie, we ordered duck breast with orange sauce and Chateaubriand au poivre gris as the main course - the meat was tender to the point, the sauces were a poem! The two owners (one of whom is the chef) are super nice and polyglot. Some German, very good English and at the end Brazilian Portuguese! A wonderful last evening in Paris! Até a proxima! (Et quand I rentrerai à Paris I reviendrai avec beaucoup de plaisir sur l'offre de voir comment le maître de cuisine fait la sauce à l'orange.)

02/04/2024: We had a delightful meal at Marso et Co Friday night. The aguachile appetizer was delicate and surprising, which we followed with delicious cod and sea bream entrees that were also memorable. The large wine selection was interesting and well-priced. The service was excellent, and the English speaking staff was welcoming and helpful. A special shoutout to Thierry for his over-the-top assistance. Highly recommended

28/04/2024: The welcome and kindness of the boss/staff is notable and it's very pleasant! Le.lieu is in its original Parisian bistro style :). The icing on the cake would be that the fish and chips were of much higher quality than I have ever eaten. It was the first time I came, I think that in this bistro there are dishes not to be missed (if I believe the other comments) and others to avoid. (My friend was satisfied with the duck breast)

06/04/2024: Very good croissant burgers. Very positive, the VG la capricieuse croissant burgers and the ratatouille croissant burger is just exquisite. The starters are very good. I didn't eat a meat croissant burger but my friends who ate one loved it very nice very noisy it's normal it was Friday evening. People were there to enjoy the moments when the weather was mild, I recommend the terrace if you want a little more calm, the service is top notch, waiter waiter and the manager of the establishment are top notch. Really nice. The crumble and semi-cooked desserts are exquisite, don't hesitate to have them. Very nice experience. For a hamburger, two croissants and a semi-cooked one it cost me an extremely affordable €17.80. For big eaters, I advise you to take a starter, main course or dessert, otherwise it won't be enough for you.

18/05/2024: After spending a week in Paris paying 20€ for tiny portions, I expected the 34€ pricetag on the 3 course dinner to mean a small appetizer, a small main dish, and a small dessert. But oh my goodness was I wrong, the 3 course meal had HUGE portion sizes! I have not had to take out at a single restaurant in France before this meal. And it was delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection, and super tender. The mussel pastry for starter was super tasty and filled with seafood. And the final Panna Cotta dessert was super refreshing and fun to eat with popping bubbles! Alas if only I could read the special menu, there were other delicacies like tatare on it that were also very affordable. The owner of the place was also such a sweet and genuine lady. She handled the food with such care. If we were staying in Paris a couple more days, I would have definitely come back to try more items on the menu!
