22/05/2024: Excellent gastronomy with impeccable service and a very intimate atmosphere!

16/05/2024: I am posting this comment after having seen most of the great stars of Lyon. We had reservations at this restaurant for our first wedding anniversary on 05/15/22 and we describe the evening as being the worst experience in the list of all our regional “great gastronomy” experiments, despite all the good recommendations we received. made about this place. The establishment forced us to eat pork despite our multiple warnings (It would be an allergen we would have ended up in the hospital). And as an excuse we just had the right to a comic book that we offered to each customer. We still bitterly regret this experience and recommend all the other starred establishments in the city which have pleased us much more with their professionalism, their seriousness and their attention to detail that we must demand from an establishment of this "renowned". Now when the service of a nice establishment asks us, “do you have any dietary indispositions”, I feel obliged to answer “don’t do like at Eugénie Brazier, don’t serve us pork please!” » We wanted to point out this gross error which was never compensated or made up for by the establishment with the slightest little gesture that one could have expected from the “Brazier experience” that we came for. We would therefore describe this restaurant as “strongly avoid” to be polite and we would probably never return there. Best regards.

24/05/2024: Attracted by the Google rating and reviews. Impeccable Japanese service. Excellent sake. Good food overall but the form trumps the substance, while I would have preferred the opposite. Too bad the wagyu option wasn't available.

12/05/2024: Encore un déjeuner exceptionnel La brigade combine l’excellence de l’accueil et du service, et toujours avec une simplicité qui est la vraie classe, et une vraie gentillesse Le menu du Centenaire était sublime, des odeurs, des saveurs, un dressage….a couper le souffle Une vraie évolution dans la légèreté des plats sans pour autant renoncer aux fondamentaux Ah, ces grenouilles au cresson et carpe fumée Ce foie gras parfaitement poêlé, ce turbot à la cuisson parfaite, cette volaille grand classique de la maison mais aux légumes revisités et allégés… Et toujours le chariot de fromages parfaitement affinés, le généreux chariot de desserts tous aussi plus beaux les uns que les autres… Et l’accord mets et vins avec de belles découvertes, comme cette trilogie de Porto sur le fromage , ce Xérès sur le foie gras Bref, 4 heures au paradis Vivement le Bicentenaire 🤣 Merci

25/04/2024: Un moment inoubliable avec une équipe au petit soin et une cuisine « Menu du Centenaire » irréprochable. Nous avons passé un excellent moment en famille ! Une très belle adresse où nous retournerons pour déguster d’autres plats emblématiques de la cuisine de Monsieur Paul ! Bravo à toute l’équipe, nous comprenons mieux pourquoi vous avez obtenu le titre de « Meilleure Brigade de France » pour l’année 2024 ! Encore toutes nos félicitations et merci pour ce très beau moment rempli d’attention et de délicatesse.

30/04/2024: We spent 340 euros for 2 people. This is a meal that made me believe that money can buy happiness. The food is perfect, and the atmosphere is great because you can eat at a chateau. The servers are also very well trained. The main steak was cooked well. I don't know when I'll come again, but it was a really good experience.

22/03/2024: Simply top notch restaurant!! I went there with my girlfriend and we had the 75€ menu. We arrived at 7:15 p.m. and the service started very quickly and everything was very smooth. The dishes are not the most sought after in the world, but everything is very well done and above all very good! Unlike other restaurants that we have tried with tasting menus, in this restaurant you will not leave still hungry! I asked at 5:30 p.m. if they could go buy me a bouquet of flowers (so a little late for a request) but the restaurant still managed to satisfy my request, and I thank them very much! Great evening, we have already planned to go back during the summer, so don't hesitate, you can go with your eyes closed.

17/03/2024: Great time in this restaurant. A first with a good table (8 people), everyone had a great time. The dishes were delicious with good portions. Beyond the quality of the dishes, the presentation is beautiful. As for the service....excellent! I will come back with pleasure, I recommend!! And then....what a pleasure to have a 100 plant-based menu in addition to being of quality and delicious 🫶🏻

23/05/2024: La cocagne c'est des plats différents chaque soir dont au moins une solution végétarienne et ça c'est top ! En plus, c'est très bon, le lieu cosy et le service adorable. Selon wikipédia, il paraîtrait que la cocagne est une sorte de paradis terrestre, une contrée miraculeuse où la nature déborde de générosité pour ses habitants et ses hôtes. Je vous confirme donc que c'est bien vrai.

16/04/2024: Friendly menu. The atmosphere is super pleasant. We were able to eat outside on the terrace. A very good choice of craft beers perfect for an aperitif. Prices are correct. The dishes are plentiful.

02/04/2024: DELICIOUS We had a wonderful time at l'Etage, with its atypical, warm and very pleasant setting (few tables which made the moment even more unique). The dishes are all tastier (and more beautiful) than the others, always with explanations and anecdotes from the chef, who transmits his passion. THANKS !

03/04/2024: One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. We did the 6 course tasting lunch on a Saturday. We also added the wine pairing. I loved the Asian influences whilst leveraging French cooking techniques. You have to trust the chef, not a place to come if you want customisation Was an interesting meal, and overall special experience.
