10/05/2024: Personnels très accueillants et bienveillants avec les clients 2 services 19h30 et 21h au 2 eme service n’avait plus un des 2 plat du jour, proposition d’un 2 eme choix de poisson mais disponible que pour une personne . Cuisine de qualité fait maison et bien présentée Rapport qualité prix un peu élevé tout de même Mais se distingue des brasseries bas de gamme de bord de mer .

10/05/2024: Nous sommes allés manger dans ce restaurant à l’occasion des 13 ans de notre fille. Accueil au top (petit attention pour son anniversaire avec une bougie sur son dessert), repart très bon et raffiné. Personnel très sympathique. Ne pas hésiter à réserver, nous recommandons cette table. Et pour couronner le tout, très bon rapport qualité prix

10/05/2024: Très bonne découverte avec un mélange de saveurs et d'originalité. C'était beau et succulent. Personnel agréable et attentionné. Le chef est excellent (comme son apprenti pour le dessert) . Très bon rapport qualité prix . Nous conseillons fortement. Franchement une belle surprise. On y retournera.

12/06/2024: We went to this restaurant last week as a couple. We really enjoyed eating these homemade dishes. The waitress explained the starters to us well, this is very rare in a restaurant. We chose to have the sea tartare and the cromesqui and we did not regret our choice. These starters were very good and well prepared. We then had fish and chips. Same, very nice not to eat frozen fries and the fish is very good too. To accompany all these dishes, we chose an oléron rosé. We chose the chocolate hazelnut and the colonel couple for dessert. We liked this restaurant, both for the good food and for the staff who were really very welcoming and pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

23/05/2024: N'arrivez surtout pas en retard et prévenez si 20mn car vous attirez les foudres de la gérante. Présentation d'excuses et pourtant un bon sermont, bien fort devant tous les clients...un.peu limite quand même..comme ça marche bien pas besoin de mesurer ses propos... Serveurs au top et gardez votre cuisinier qui bonifient votre établissement

15/05/2024: Comme à chaque fois c’est délicieux et le service est très agréable. Niveau rapport qualité/prix c’est un des meilleurs de la région. Plats copieux et savoureux. C’est devenu un inévitable des que je viens dans la région.

16/05/2024: Bonne surprise que la Tour du Sénéchal à Ars! Une équipe sympa et dynamique, un excellent accueil, une ardoise "top" en terme de choix, et la possibilité d'acheter également les vins proposés à la carte, tout ceci procure une ambiance excellente, en plus, naturellement, de la qualité des plats proposés! Réserver est sans doute nécessaire, car la salle demeure petite toutefois, malgré la possibilité de manger en extérieur. Un sans-faute, donc!

15/05/2024: Prima plek in Ars en Ré op het Ile de Ré. Leuk gelegen in het centrum bij de kerk. Eten was eenvoudig maar erg lekker. De gevulde kip met paddenstoelen was slow cooked en heerlijk mals en vol van smaak. Hoevekip en dat kon je proeven. De steak tartare was voortreffelijk en van goede kwaliteit vlees. Fijn gesneden en niet gemalen!!! Verder kon je in het restaurant/épicerie wat streekproducten kopen, o.a. wijn van Ile de Ré.

11/06/2024: Great restaurant, we go there every year, even several times, to have seafood platters. We noticed that the latter were less plentiful and the giant shrimps were dry. Too bad we will try again anyway so as not to be disappointed. Top notch staff.

28/05/2024: A restaurant well located at the end of Pointe de la Fumée. Welcome and pleasant service. Good value for money. Note a very small portion of the fish terrine. Lacks a little refinement in the plates.

25/05/2024: An excellent meal, the dishes are elaborate and refined, very rich in color. As good for the taste buds as for the eyes.. impeccable service and very friendly boss. I recommend this restaurant which also has an exceptional location.

26/05/2024: Very beautiful Mercure recently tastefully renovated. Perfect welcome – very nice room (privilege with balcony) and good value for money for the services (quality of the bedding for example) and a city like La Rochelle. Effective WiFi. This was my 3rd Accor hotel in 1 month and the connection is identical everywhere and super easy with no fuss. Good point for the group. Another good point is the possibility of having free fresh water (still or sparkling) from a fountain on each floor. One note though regarding the privilege rooms with balcony. Very pleasant during the day with the sun in the afternoon and a beautiful terrace but noisy at night. (We stayed there 2 nights 5 days apart and this was the case each time). Don't expect to sleep with an open window with hordes of young people returning from the docks in the middle of the night and making noise outside your room. Mercury doesn't know how to do much about this, but you might as well know before choosing your type of room. It might be better to take a room facing the back and not on the side of the Quai Louis Prunier. It's up to you between the view - the terrace and the sun during the day and a little peace and quiet at night unless you sleep with the window closed with the air conditioning.

03/11/2023: Very good, and very fresh, but, to choose, it is better to choose the terrace in the evening. At lunchtime, you will have all the noise and onlookers in the market. In the evening, what tranquility, to enjoy their sea blanquette 👌😋😋

11/06/2024: This is the second time I've been there, the welcome is warm, the room is bright and pleasant. I chose the unlimited seafood for €41 and the quality/price ratio is excellent.

09/06/2024: I am amazed at the glowing comments... For my part, the staff is indeed pleasant and we are well received which is a feat in La Rochelle… but, well, elsewhere, it is normal. I discovered this restaurant by chance during a walk. The facade doesn't really make you want to push the door open, it's old-fashioned, a little faded and stuck in an industrial port area. Well, I was told that there might be seafood products at a good price... There is an unlimited seafood “buffet”. 40€. For that price, we serve you, probably so that you don't take too much...? The choice is very limited, not even oysters unless you pay an extra €6 or €9 for 6 oysters. Magic ! So, it's just too expensive. I settled on a plate from the auction. Rather well prepared but cooking three fish on a plancha is not really gastronomy... for the modest sum of €30. In short, it's way too expensive for what you'll find there. For the atmosphere, it is extremely noisy, we should perhaps open the terrace to limit the noise pollution. Overall, we didn't have a very pleasant time.

16/06/2024: Very good restaurant, you can go there with your eyes closed, the waitress is super friendly, the owner too, and really a 10 for the cook, I had a parsley eel, killer. We will come back for sure.
