19/03/2024: Quite Mexican atmosphere with helpful and multilingual staff. Chefs coming straight from Mexico and therefore authentic cuisine, without unnecessary frills. We particularly liked the enmoladas, the salsa verde and the hibiscus-tequila ice cream dessert. A moment full of emotion and memories!

The magarita in a “frozen” pitcher is the best I have ever had.

09/05/2024: I am mexican. I can tell you, there's nothing Mexican about this restaurant. It's Tex-Mex, and very bad stuff. Suffice it to say, they unpacked the Old el Paso section at the supermarket, and they put it on plates. I would like to prohibit them from advertising themselves as a Mexican restaurant, they give a completely false image of Mexican cuisine.
If you want to taste real Mexican, go to Piquin in the 3rd: there you will have the authentic taste of Mexico, very difficult to find.
I only recommend El Sombrero for the atmosphere, which is friendly, the service, rather fast, and the servers, very pleasant.

And the biggest problem is the tacos which were botched for the umpteenth time a few years ago it was impossible

Small downside, no socket in the bathroom.
When we woke up, no one, no breakfast, no details when we arrived even though breakfast was noted on Booking.
A nice disappointment.
Nothing was clarified when we arrived.

13/05/2024: yesterday I ordered a maxi cordon bleu tacos and a cordon bleu sandwich... it's really a shame the maxi tacos are more like before the times... not big at all I was hungry when I got it is finished even though at the time you had a stomach ache when you finished it! but beyond that there is not a lot of meat like the time the taco pancake is not cooked frankly you have to cook it better than that limits the pancake almost raw... and when the pancake is rolled it is not even closed... at the top I'm willing but even at the bottom it's poorly closed and so we have to be careful that it doesn't fall to the bottom... it's super small for a maxi taco it costs 8.90 euros and the sandwich is very very little cordon bleu in it.. frankly it's a shame and I differentiate myself from the other opinions which are written here I don't put a zero or 1 out of 5 I'm not here to make bad publicity I didn't like it but I answer bad with good so you are awarded a score of 5/5 I recommend this snack I wish you the best and above all success
08/05/2024: Huge change in 2 months already. We were a group of friends who had come every week for 20 years to get maxitacos. Well since this Ramadan 2024 that has changed. QUALITY and QUANTITY have declined enormously.
We said to ourselves that we would give the benefit of the doubt maybe it's new cooks these days Etc... we showed patience but after 4/5 times it was confirmed the quality and the quantity has decreased significantly. We're sorry but the adventure ends there for us. Too bad, you've been good for decades.
I hope you will question yourself.
