26/03/2024: Super typical Chinese restaurant where the dishes are to be shared. The taste is present and the portions generous. We eat very well and inexpensively. The restaurant is run solely by a couple, a big congratulations to both. The restaurant is a victim of its success, remember to book! Ps: the waiting time can be a little long for group reservations, plan accordingly ;)

21/05/2024: An exceptional culinary experience in the heart of Paris! L'Orient d'Or, located in the 9th arrondissement, is undoubtedly one of the best authentic Chinese restaurants in Paris. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by attentive and smiling staff, which made our lunch even more pleasant. The cuisine is simply divine. Each dish is a true explosion of flavors. We particularly enjoyed the Pork Mao, a delicacy not to be missed! The jellyfish salad, on the other hand, was an incredible find – fresh and perfectly seasoned. All dishes are prepared in house, which is reflected in the quality and flavor of each bite. The setting is pleasant and traditional, immediately immersing us in the authentic atmosphere of a Chinese restaurant. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the dishes served. In summary, L'Orient d'Or is a must for all fans of traditional Chinese cuisine. We will come back without hesitation! Absolutely worth testing!

05/04/2024: We ordered pasta in a cream sauce with truffles and artichokes - excellent Fettuccine in cream sauce with salmon - excellent Salad starter with Caprese cheese - excellent. The staff is very helpful and a warm and homely atmosphere. The place is full, so we waited a bit at the entrance.

05/04/2024: Great Place. Very welcoming. No reservation and the main maître d' of the restaurant politely said in 40 mins he could have us a table. We walked around a bit as lots to see it’s Paris and came back. He still invited us in to the bar and said a table will come up. Made us drinks and made us feel very welcome. A table came ready fairly quickly and we had a nice meal. Drinks were great and as busy as it was the two servers made it all happen for us and the packed restaurant. We will reserve next time for sure. Very affordable meals and drinks for the center of the 9th. Had a great night

31/05/2024: We were only at the restaurant: Average service (except for the security guard at the entrance who is very friendly). The Menu is quite expensive compared to the quality offered. The place is smoking even if it is quite open... Mayonnaise is not available to accompany the good fries (there is only ketchup and mustard). Pressed juices cannot be made because the bartender has a lot of work (but it does exist on the menu)!

16/03/2024: Family lunch Saturday 3/16. Smiling welcome for this young team already referenced by the Michelin guide. Cozy atmosphere for this small restaurant but great for the quality of its dishes. I had the chef's specialty: sweetbreads. Top-notch! All the other dishes delighted the guests. An address to remember.

28/03/2024: The restaurant manager is superb. She welcomes you very warmly and takes the time to explain the menu to you when you are new to her. For my part, I had salmon pasta (it was excellent). The big plus is that everything is homemade and this is felt in the tasting. When it comes to desserts, everything is a dream. Frankly we want to take everything at once my spots of not having eyes bigger than our stomach ;). Go take a look at her place, she will welcome you and fill your belly well too. Very good discovery, I will come more often.

31/03/2024: We discovered this place last night. What a nice surprise in this business and theater district to find a quality bistronomic restaurant! We chose the gravlax salmon, patanegra and the vegetarian dish with a good Chablis. Delicious ! Only fresh produce is becoming rare. The dessert is a very light revisitation of the calisson. I recommend.
