Les meilleurs restaurants en La Chapelle-De-Guinchay

30/05/2024: Very disappointed with this restaurant. We thought we would be seated on the terrace but ultimately we had to have lunch inside even though the weather was nice and the temperature was mild. I find this a real shame, especially for this establishment for which the terrace is the main asset. The dishes offered on the menu are too few. I agree that it is not necessary to offer 20 dishes, but 3 seems far too few. The sauce for the starter was the same as that for the main course. Surprising for a menu offered at €54! Never seen. Especially since my starter was based on scallops and the main course was meat. I found the dish and the starter without any particular taste or research. In fact, I think that the quality of the dishes is even better in my company restaurant. The lamb shoulder is actually just a piece of shredded meat presented in a medallion. What a desappointment! In short, we were disappointed from start to finish and the service was even a long one. There seemed to be a lack of staff both in the kitchen and in the dining room. To charge such prices, you have to present less ordinary dishes in my opinion. I have rarely had the opportunity to have the feeling of being so cheated when coming to a restaurant. In conclusion, I have known this restaurant for a long time and I had excellent memories of it. But it seems that there must have been a change of ownership recently for the quality to have dropped so much while the prices have experienced a lot of inflation!!

11/05/2024: Very nice evening, great view but 3 x 11 euros for three glasses of Domaine de la Chénepierre - Christophe Lapierre is too much.
