17/03/2024: I really fell in love with this restaurant where the food is very good and the welcome is very warm and pleasant. Focus on the dishes: the fish was served in appreciable quantities, a real fillet and its puree which does not leave you hungry. Next time I’ll have the beef cheek samosa… a delicious idea (if it’s on the menu). We appreciated the land - sea aspect and the short and elaborate menu. We are clearly tourists but we were very well received… it’s a winning bet because we come every year and we will come back. (I didn't take any photos...go there with your eyes closed).

03/04/2024: Pretty good for a restaurant in a ski resort. Because most of them all have that log cabin interior. I specifically selected photos of the interior because I didn't want the log cabin feeling on my birthday on a ski trip. Parking is provided. So the interior was effectively different and fun. With a wood fire that made it cozy. The host was friendly and attentive and had a talent for serving guests. The hostess was more reserved. The food was quite tasty. Price quality was certainly okay. The tables were quite low and so were the chairs and benches. Putting a cushion on your chair solved the problem.

07/05/2024: From the outside it doesn't look like much.. But apart from that everything is perfect! The kitchen! The atmosphere! And the service is typical of Savoie!! The products are all fresh and of excellent quality for a price that is totally affordable!! Thanks to Jean for his good humor! I highly recommend this restaurant!! Paul

18/04/2024: I paid 23 euros for this dish accompanied by a small lettuce salad. Unseasoned cooked carrots, potatoes with a few herbs on top and a very simple salmon steak. My father was also very disappointed with his dish. Has the cook changed? It was delicious before, La Cabane was my favorite restaurant in the valley. I expressed my dissatisfaction but received no commercial gesture even though we spent 71 euros. Customers for 7 years, summer and winter, we will not come back.

07/04/2024: We had dinner at the La Cabane restaurant and we didn’t regret it at all! The decoration of the restaurant corresponds perfectly to the Bonneval resort, the interior is all wood and very cozy, like the chalets. The servers take great care The food was very good, homemade and plentiful. I recommend!!

27/03/2024: Second year in Val Thorens on a ski holiday at Easter and second year that we have this restaurant on the slopes as an obligatory stop. From the hamburgers to the omelette, to the menus and not forgetting the desserts, everything is delicious. The service and attention very good. We will repeat!

25/03/2024: This place is amazing, awesome food. We came back 5 days in a row. We tried several Entrees, all were done to perfection. Beer is top notch, so is the service.

05/05/2024: A very nice discovery. We ate there twice between March and May, renewed menu and very good products. The daily lunch menu was perfect, and we were not disappointed with the dishes chosen from the menu in the evening either.

01/05/2024: We ate there a few weeks ago, the positive points, the food is good with fresh produce, the staff is welcoming, but the prices are too high for sparse plates. Something is missing from the atmosphere 🧐 1 Starter + 1 main course and 1 glass of wine (without dessert) 122nd for 2 people...

15/03/2024: This should be an excellent bar. Unfortunately the place is let down by: Disgusting house lager as well as terrible Birra Moretti (which tastes exactly the same as the house lager) The staff seemed to treat the bar like their own party spot, which is fine however does make the regular punter feel very unwelcome. I imagine the bar is making a killing and the owners are more than happy, I’m sure once it was about the customer but now it seems like the money comes no matter how it’s run. Food was ok, although I found a long dark hair in my burger and the lad serving had long nails with visible dirt under them. It may have been that it was that they were coming to the end of a long season, but standards were very poor unfortunately. Would I go back, not if I could help it. The bar in the hotel was far nicer and of a similar price.

12/03/2024: Great bar in La Tania, huge portions of food that is great quality and reasonably priced. Good beers on tap. The best place to meet after a day's skiing if staying in the area. Would defo recommend.
