20/05/2024: Coming from the Lot we tasted the foie gras and the duck breast. A massacre. It's been years since we had such a good lunch. Very friendly welcome and a top professional team. Would not change a thing. We will come back

29/03/2024: Decent cuisine, nothing more. Scallops Well snacked but Two on average bacon which adds nothing. Chicken plus 8 euros or 8 euros 50 correct lots of morels not fresh but good Bad value for money. I spend my time cutting and deboning the chicken for my dog ​​WHICH IS NOT ACCEPTED IN THE RESTAURANT. I ask the boy to wrap it for me.....forgotten. me upset. Had trouble swallowing my dessert. The waiter to catch up brings me chicken from another table with disappointing bones and an exaggerated price.

02/04/2024: We spent 3 nights in this very quiet hotel in the middle of nowhere. The room was very bright and comfortable. The copious and varied “Buffet” breakfasts are served in a bright room overlooking the Damandre waterfall. Every evening we dined in the restaurant and really enjoyed the menus presented and different each evening. A big THANK YOU to the Chef (very very friendly) for the quality of the dishes, the presentation of the plates and especially for the original combination of fresh products without forgetting the "homemade" foie gras. Everything was perfect. We really had a very pleasant relaxing time.

01/04/2024: Great address with a magnificent environment. Very good table with very good products and above all congratulations to the pastry chef who served us an extra dessert, a real killer. To complement the waitresses and a attentive sommelier. This was our first visit and I recommend this address 100%. We will come back.....

23/05/2024: Établissement sympathique doté d'un grand parking. Le restaurant dispose de plusieurs salles permettant d'accueillir de très nombreux convives. Malgré l'affluence le service est très efficace. La carte propose plusieurs spécialités régionales.

13/05/2024: Nous avons passé une excellente soirée ! La terrasse est très agréable, accès à des jeux pour les enfants, service impeccable, nourriture excellente et enfin un menu enfant qui sort des nuggets/frites ! Vraiment rien à redire :)

03/04/2024: It is a restaurant to absolutely discover, mainly for its original, very retro and surprising decor. I'm even going to recommend an original "occupation" there: go visit the toilets! Don't forget to book in advance, they are almost always full. In April, it's frog season, make the most of them there, they are excellent. The only downside was that the service was very slow.

12/03/2024: We had a pleasant time in this exceptional setting, welcoming and professional staff. As soon as we arrive, the waitress brings our little dog a bowl of water, usually very rare, we have to ask for it. The rooster with morels and vin jaune, a killer, I recommend the profiteroles too. I will come back with pleasure.

19/04/2024: Nestled in the heart of the village of Balanod in a typically Jura green setting, the Bouvard Restaurant ensures a wonderful time in a quite unique setting. First of all, the welcome is very pleasant, the setting warm and adorable! The tables are perfectly set with pretty woven tablecloths, topped with colorful squares and superb porcelain plates and mismatched glasses. Very comfortable velvet armchairs stylishly complete this set evoking shared pleasure in a cozy atmosphere. For almost 100 years, the Bouvard family has passed down the taste of good food. We are in a local restaurant. Chef Philippe Bouvard enchanted us with authentic, rich and generous cuisine based around a few local gems cooked brilliantly. Everything was perfect. A great discovery. I advise. Do not miss the discovery of the ATMOSPHERE Brasserie opposite the Bouvard Restaurant. A welcome provided by Jean-Philippe who passionately explains to you all the knowledge and skills of making quality organic beers. This brewery distributes its numbered range in Burgundy Franche Comté, Rhône Alpes and France...to wine merchants, bars, restaurants, grocery stores, businesses and individuals.

27/04/2024: I just want to inform you that they no longer make burgers or dishes just things to snack on (cold meats, fries, baked camembert)

12/03/2024: Warm welcome, home cooking using fresh and local produce “Homemade” fries are delicious and the dishes are very generous. Go there without hesitation, great address.
