11/05/2024: Sehr gute Küche kombiniert mit freundlichem und sehr kompetentem Service. Der griechische Ursprung ist unverkennbar. Die griechische Gastfreundschaft und eine tolle Weinauswahl aus Griechenland sind wirklich sehr besonders. Ein echtes gastronomisches Highlight.

06/04/2024: It's been a long time since I returned to this "tavern" where the current Michelin-starred chef Mavrommatis started. It's always full, always buzzing, less and less space to move around (optimization of tables). Success requires. Prices on the rise, you are not in the plaka here😃. Lots of foreigners. On the plate, it's pretty good. But less than I remember from a few years ago. The beef cheek tasted very good. But the meat wasn't hot. That of the garnish was correct. The meat or cheese/spinach puffs were good. But the “sole” was hard to cut. Too overcooked? Or overheated. In their little garnish salad, the taste of olive oil wasn't really there. But Greek olive oil is one of the most fruity and tasty 🤔 What is excusable elsewhere cannot be excusable here, given the prices and the star of the Grand Chef. Still recommended for a guaranteed change of scenery

The menu, however, needs to be reviewed: there is not much choice and the menus offered at €12 are a simple assembly of small samples which are not particularly fresh. The pancakes that accompany them are clearly industrial and become inedible as soon as they cool. The vegetarian menu, quite meager, includes 4 too-hard falafels, a small piece of cheese, a spoonful of hummus, eggplant caviar and a small bowl of beans. The traditional menu is more abundant and offers, instead of cheese and beans, rice with vermicelli and kofta; the meat was a little tough, but overall the dish gave me an idea of ​​Egyptian cuisine. The service is very slow and the times indicated on Google and displayed at the entrance are not reliable.

05/04/2024: Among the proposals of this place we find two complete dishes, meat and vegetarian respectively. The menu, in fact, mainly offers drinks and various types of hookah, which non-smoking guests inhale, despite themselves, as happened to me, in the presence of smoking customers. The vegetarian dish includes four small falafel, two slices of fresh cheese, a spoonful of hummus, salad with topping, aubergine caviar with and without tomato and broad beans. All good, even if it lacks a bit of that character that would raise the level of the dish. The piadina offered is not prepared in the restaurant and is not particularly good. The environment is warm and welcoming, with red sofas and tables inlaid in Arabic style. Price €12 for each dish.

14/05/2024: Found this gem by chance and it was truly amazing! The ambience was inviting, unpretentious and cozy with beautiful music on the background that added our appetite. The owner and the staff(Japanese/French) were so warm, attentive and welcoming. We ordered several dishes which included salad, falafel, chicken etc. Every dish was packed with flavours and simply delicious! We will definitely visit there again next time when we are in Paris! ♥️
