AU TEMPLE DU PAIN sur Vienne

I recommend this bar, the staff are top-notch and very pleasant.

Nice place next to the Roman temple, but it's a shame they'd run out of main courses for lunch, so we had to settle for the very few available options... The Lyonnaise salad was good, but it's not my favorite dish...

Impeccable and fast service, very friendly

Very well located. Right opposite the ancient temple. Good atmosphere. You can eat there, but only at lunchtime. Very nice in the evening for an aperitif.

It's always so pleasant to have a drink in this place... We'll be back next Saturday... Like every week!!

Really enjoyed my food here, and the location is great, but the location is what carries the atmosphere. It was a bright sunny day yet none of the shade was put out, so make sure you bring sun screen... Service was ok, menu was basic and when I asked about beer because I couldn't see any on the menu I was told there was IPA, blond, Belgian and one other i forget... so it was a lottery what the actual beer would be. That said the IPA I ordered was good. Just from a service perspective a little more detail, and adding it to the menu would help. I do recommend the place though.

Excellent bar with very friendly staff, who even kindly offered us an umbrella to help us get home in the rain, despite not knowing us. Very affordable lunch, attentive bartender, beautiful decor, cool and very pleasant atmosphere – a truly great bar. Worth discovering.
