They are top notch, I ate like a prince, with a warm welcome. And we eat well there, in abundance and it's very good. I recommend a thousand times!!!

Very good restaurant warm welcome very good atmosphere just the service which is done by a waiter I think you should not be hypochondriac because he leaves a lot of fingerprints on the food and not very clean on him it's a real shame otherwise the kitchen is very good

Auberge de St-Martin, 8 rue de Paris in Sourdun, July 6, 2023 Starter + main course + cheese + dessert (excluding drinks) = €16.50 + Coffee €1.40 = €16.90 Alain €16.50 Drink: Carafe. Starter: Hard-boiled eggs with mayonnaise and mixed vegetables. Dish: Stir-fried pork and homemade fries. Cheese: Port-salut and Chèvre. Dessert: Bavarian with raspberries. Coffee. Story: VL parking on the shoulder and HGV parking opposite. Room decorated with a large cart wheel and a model of a warship; The comfortable chairs and stable tables give the impression of being in an institution of the Republic! Compared to our last visit which dates back to September 11, 2019, it seems to me that the staff has changed, in any case the welcome is more friendly. The cutlery is well presented but the salt shaker is empty which surprises me for this start of service. On the menu there is “eggs” but I had one and a half with a tablespoon of salad, a slice of tomato and two salad leaves, not very filling for me. Pork stir-fry with carrots bathed in tomato sauce. The “homemade” fries leave me doubtful: they are not crispy and the inside is either soft or crunchy, they are worse than those of ready-made meals to be reheated in the microwave, it’s industrial and bad! I extracted each piece of pork and cut it on the plate serving as a support for the fries, it was good because you didn't taste the tomato sauce. The cheese board has pre-cut portions and they are at the right temperature. The Bavarian is industrial, it feels like the Génoise which is dry and not soft. For coffee, the lady set up a table and a chair in the shade just for me, this touched me because with my disability I cannot handle the furniture that is in the sun. Conclusion: Unlike the similar establishment located 20 kilometers away, the price has only increased by €0.60 in 4 years, hats off to the management! The welcome is now excellent, but for a restaurant in the Rover Guide, 1 hour 15 minutes for lunch seems limited to me. There is progress but we will have to choose better quality industrial products because the competition offers home cooking for €2.50 more; I appreciated the quiet clientele.
