Had a fantastic experience at Tricotin and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine in Paris. From the moment we arrived, the restaurant had a lively atmosphere and the staff were welcoming and efficient despite how busy it was.
The highlight of the meal was definitely the duck, which was cooked perfectly. The meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavour, while the skin had just the right amount of crispiness. Another standout dish was the crispy rice, which had an amazing crunchy texture and was incredibly satisfying to eat. Every dish we ordered was fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully prepared.
The portions were generous, making it great value for money, especially considering the quality of the food. It’s easy to see why this place is so popular. Whether you’re visiting with friends, family, or simply craving authentic Chinese food, Tricotin is a fantastic choice.
Looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes from the menu.
I tried the Pho, it was delicious and the portion was quite generous, the attention was quick and kind, and the price was not bad (around 20€ per person with wine + min paos)
I ordered from here on uber eats. The order was delivered promptly. But the crispy pork was cold. Like it had been taken out of the fridge cold. The fried rice was warmer and tasty enough. It’s a shame because if it was a decent temperature it would have been a delicious meal. They also missed the order note to add soy sauce on the side.
I didn't find there what others have found. The service was not friendly, just present. The food came fast. I didn't really enjoy it : rice and half a pickled carrot and some Beijing duck and crispy pork. Meh. Neither were crispy or very good. Just okay. The room is quite sad looking and doesn't appear particularly clean. It is also loud. The prices were pretty good : about $18 for a dish and a Thai beer.
Won't go back though.
