Stopped for a cafe au lait and croissant while cycling to the market. Lovely chilled atmosphere. Friendly staff and great coffee :0)

We used to stay near Aveyron with our van and of course do our shopping, especially on Sunday mornings at the market with half a dozen vendors, or have a drink or a meal at the bar, but now the mayor has suddenly developed an allergy to motorhomes or vans parking and is threatening to fine these vehicles, well I'm not going to bother you anymore, neither with my car nor with my van, I'm really sorry for you to have to go any further....

A truly beautiful place that feels like the heart of the city, where tourists and locals mingle naturally in an exceptional square steeped in architecture, authenticity, and history. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Arrogance has no place here; just be down-to-earth and smile. That's how we were received, and it was very pleasant. Enjoy the terrace!

Excellent French market place cafe, great for morning coffees, lunchtime and afternoon beers etc. Croissants available for breakfast. Great vin chaud in the winter.
